'''Hero''' is Kirk Franklin's 8th studio album. Kirk Franklin and J Moss are the sole producers of the album. Dorinda Clark Cole, Stevie Wonder, and Yolanda Adams are among the number of gospel/soul artists featured on the album.
''Hero'' featured the singles "Looking for You" and "Imagine Me". "Looking for You" was released on September 20 2005 [1]. The single was a top-five hit on the Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart [2]. "Looking for You" boosted sales for the album, which was certified platinum by the RIAA.
In 2006, ''Hero'' was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album and "Imagine Me" was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Song.
