'Highway 59' is a north-south highway running from the Arkansas-Missouri State Line south to Highway 22 at Barling. From Highway 72 at Gravette, north to the Missouri State Line, AR 59 is the original alignment of U.S. Highway 71. The road continues north into Missouri as Route 59.
Between Siloam Springs and Summers AR 59 is the original alignment of U.S. Highway 59. When US 59 was rerouted through Oklahoma, this road was redesignated AR 59.
Highway 59 parallels US 59 between Siloam Springs and Fort Smith.
