'Holly Golightly' (born 'Holly Golightly Smith') is an British singer-songwriter.
She is a former member of the all-girl garage band Thee Headcoatees, the female incarnation of Billy Childish group Thee Headcoats. For her solo career, she draws from rhythm and blues, rockabilly, and sounds of the 1960s or earlier. She has released thirteen studio albums of her own and has collaborated with other artists, such as Billy Childish and Rocket From The Crypt, and most notably The White Stripes; she is featured on the track "It's True That We Love One Another" from their album, ''Elephant''. She performed two songs on the soundtrack of the movie ''Broken Flowers'' 1) "There Is an End (Featuring Holly Golightly)" by The Greenhornes & Holly Golightly (can also be found on album Dual Mono) and 2) "Tell Me Now So I Know" by Holly Golightly (found on album "Truly She Is None Other"). She is also a collector of rare old songs which she often covers. Her latest album is "You Can't Buy A Gun When You're Crying" released in May 2007
