HOLLYWOOD/HIGHLAND (LACMTA STATION)

Hollywood/Highland station is located in the heart of Hollywood's tourist attractions

'Hollywood/Highland' station has an island platform, and is located under the shopping center (Hollywood and Highland) and street intersection of the same namesake: Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue. The Kodak Theatre is located directly above the station. The station has been closed on the day of the Academy Awards due to terrorism concerns.
The design of the entrance to the station may have been inspired by New York City's Times Square-42nd Street Station
