'Oliver Wendell Holmes Middle School'
'Oliver Wendell Holmes Middle School' also known as 'Holmes Middle School' is a middle school in Fairfax County, Virginia. The school has an Alexandria, Virginia address but is outside of the city limits. It is part of the Fairfax County Public Schools system. It is named after Oliver Wendell Holmes.
Holmes Middle School was founded in 1966. In 1991, additional construction was started. In 2004, a whole new front area of the building was constructed including a new media center, office, and guidance office. That same year, Holmes became a member of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program.
