HONOR OAK PARK RAILWAY STATION

'Honor Oak Park' is a London railway station, serving the suburban area of that name in the London Borough of Lewisham. It is located in Travelcard Zone 3, between Brockley and Forest Hill, and serves trains from Charing Cross/ London Bridge to Croydon and beyond; and the Victoria via Crystal Palace.
The line on which it stands was opened in 1839, but this station was only opened by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway on 1 April 1886. There are four tracks through the station, with platforms on the outer Slow lines. These platforms connect the booking office (see illustration) by means of an overbridge.
Honor Oak Park will form part of the new southbound route of the East London Line that is due to open in 2010 and form part of the London Overground.
