HORSELAND (TV SERIES)

'''Horseland''' is an American animated series produced by DIC Entertainment and follows the events of a group of kids who visit Horseland, a ranch for horses, and their adventures of riding, raising, and entering their horses in competitions. The series premiered on September 16, 2006 as part of CBS's new Saturday morning cartoon block, KOL's Saturday Morning Secret Slumber Party on CBS. Concurrent with the series, the online virtual pet game the show was based on has been updated to compliment the series by launching a new "Junior version" of the game based on the show and featuring its various characters and locations.
The second season of Horseland will premiere on September 15, 2007.

Sarah Whitney

Leader of the group, Sarah is eleven years old, outgoing, and a natural rider who has been riding ever since she was five. She is from a wealthy family and often tries to hide the fact she is rich so others will like her for who she is, instead of her money. While upbeat, sometimes she can be insecure about herself and her abilities. Voiced by Dana Donlan.
Sarah's horse is Scarlet, a black Arabian mare who is leader of the herd thanks to her fearless and regal attitude, though she can be moody at times. She is gentle with younger riders and is kind and affectionate to the horses and anyone around her.

Alma Rodriguez

Alma is twelve years old and comes from a tight-knit Hispanic family. Her father has worked as the overseer of the stable-hands at Horseland for over ten years. As a young child, Alma often pleaded with her father to take her to work with him so she could see and play with the horses until she was old enough to go by herself. She is very talented in show jumping. Voiced by Emily Hernandez
Alma's horse is Button, a piebald Pinto mare who is mischievous and often plays tricks on her owner and the other horses. When it is time to be serious, however, she is the best!

Chloe Stilton

Chloe is twelve years old and quite a competitive young girl, especially with her fraternal twin sister, Zoey. She is extremely confident and likes to let other people know of her talents. She has a huge crush on Baily and is into clothes, make-up, and loves to look great when she rides. Though Chloe is competitive with her sister, they still support each other when it's important. Voiced by Bianca Heyward.
Chloe's horse is Chili, a Grey Dutch Warmblood stallion who shares Chloe's spark of confidence to the point that he feels he is the most talented horse in Horseland. He is good at jumping.

Zoey Stilton

Zoey is twelve years old and Chloe's twin sister. Unlike Chloe, Zoey takes a sneaky approach with her competitiveness. Like Chloe, Zoey has a crush on Baily and is into fashion and make-up. she is good at dressage, and can be outspoken in defense of her beliefs. While Zoey is competitive with her twin, she is very supportive of Chloe in times of need. Though both Stilton twins can be rude and competitive at times, they can also be considerate and nice. Voiced by Bianca Heyward.
Zoey's horse is Pepper, a Grey Dutch Warmblood mare that is quick-tempered but beautiful.

Molly Washington

Molly is an eleven-year-old African-American girl who often deals with life's problems through humor. She is very funny, charismatic, and a free-spirit. She makes fun of herself and sometimes the other kids, which causes them to get annoyed at the fact she doesn't seem to take much seriously. However, Molly can become serious and ride a horse just as well as the others when her friends are counting on her. Voiced by Aleyah Smith.
Molly's horse is Calypso, a spotted Appaloosa who is amiable, laid-back, and affectionate.

Bailey Handler

Bailey is twelve years old and also the son of the Horseland owners. He is sometimes a troublemaker and often takes many risks and gambles, rarely considering the consequences of his actions. He loves animals, especially horses. Bailey is also the resident heartthrob, the object of most of the girls' affections. He loves his horse Aztec and has a little crush on Sarah. Voiced by David Kallis.
Bailey's horse is Aztec, a Kiger Mustang who is very brave and hot-blooded, but is also hot-headed, a daredevil, and a big risk-taker.

Will Taggert

Will is fourteen years old, which makes him the second oldest of the group. He is Bailey's cousin and has lived with Bailey's family ever since he was a little boy. He often acts as the big brother figure to the rest of the kids, especially Bailey, and is often in charge of the ranch when Bailey's parents aren't around. He loves to listen to country music, ride horses, and can be seen always dressed in cowboy garb.
Will's horse is Jimber, a powerful Palomino stallion who has a similar commanding presence on the other horses like Will does for the kids.
