HUGH BROMLEY-DAVENPORT
'Hugh Richard Bromley-Davenport' OBE (born 18 August 1870 at Capesthorne Hall, Chelford, Cheshire, England; died 23 May 1954 in South Kensington, London, England) was a cricketer who played first-class cricket for Cambridge University between 1892 and 1893 and Middlesex between 1896 and 1898. Bromley-Davenport also played four Test matches for England, all of which were against South Africa.
Bromley-Davenport served with the Royal Engineers in the First World War, and was awarded the OBE for his services.
