HUNTINGTON, CHESHIRE


'Huntington' is a small village and civil parish on the outskirts of Chester in the Chester District of Cheshire, England.
It is known to have existed since at least 1801, as the population according to the census of the year was 111. [1]. At the 2001 census, the population of the entire civil parish was 1961.2001 census details. Accessed 15-May-2007.
Huntington has facilities that include:

★ Huntington Primary School

★ Huntington Post Office

★ St Luke's Church of England Church

★ Caldy Nature Park[2]

★ Saighton's Camp ~ An old army base that despite the name, is listed as in Huntington. Now closed and subject to consultation over its future use.
The main road through the village, Chester Road, links Chester, which is less than a mile to the north, with the villages of Farndon and Aldford to the south.
