HUTCHINSON'S RATIO

G. Evelyn Hutchinson looked at size differences between similar species when they were living together and when they were isolated. After analyzing the data, he came to the conclusion that various key attributes in species varied with the ratio 1:1.3.
It is worth noting that knives, skillets, and instruments have been shown to be related to each other in size, differring each by 1.3.
