'Iasis Healthcare LLC' owns and operates hospitals in Arizona, Florida, Texas, Utah and Nevada. The company, based in Franklin, Tennessee, owns 15 hospitals. It also operates a Medicaid insurance plan in Arizona. Founded in 1999, privately-held, for-profit Iasis Healthcare seeks to build community-focused hospital networks in high-growth markets. The company was formed through a series of transactions that were arranged by the Iasis management team and JLL, a New York based firm whose private equity fund is the single largest stockholder in Iasis.
