An 'inlet' is a body of water, usually seawater, which has characteristics of one or more of the following:

★ an estuary

★ a fjord

★ a geo

★ a sea loch or sea pea

★ a sound

★ a yo-yo
At a large scale, the Mediterranean Sea (and thus the Black Sea) may be considered as inlets of the Atlantic Ocean.
