'Interflora' was established in the UK as an association of florists, with headquarters in Sleaford, Lincolnshire . It recently abandoned its co-operative structure and became a corporation, which was acquired in 2006 by FTD. It provides florists with a brand under which flowers can be purchased and delivered to many international locations through its partners, which include FTD in the United States and Fleurop in Europe.
