INTERNATIONAL NETWORKS

'International Networks' is a media company that operates a number of foreign language cable television and satellite channels.
Beginning with 'The International Channel' (now known as 'AZN Television'), the company has since added channels featuring programming from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Most of its channels are offered as premium channels on an a la carte basis.
International Networks is the trade name of International Networks, LLC, a wholly owned company of Comcast Corporation, which purchased it in July 2004 from Liberty Media as part of a larger deal.
Current cable and satellite networks operated by International Networks, LLC, include:

★ 'ART (Arabic Radio & Television)' - Arabic cultural and Islamic general entertainment programs

★ 'CCTV (China Central Television) Channel 4' and 'CTI (Chinese Television International) Zhong Tian Channel' - Chinese programming

★ 'MBC (Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation)' and 'tvK24' - Korean programming

★ 'RAI (Radiotelevisione Italiana) International' - Italy's national broadcaster's channel for the Americas

★ 'C1R (Channel One Russia)' and 'RTN (Russian Television Network)'

★ 'Rang-a-Rang TV' and 'NITV (National Iranian Television)' - Persian television programming

★ 'SBTN (Saigon Broadcasting Television Network)' - America’s first 24-hour Vietnamese cable TV network

★ 'TFC (The Filipino Channel)' - Catering to all aspects of Filipino life

★ 'TV5MONDE' - the fourth largest TV network in the world, in French

★ 'TV Asia' - Programs in Hindi, English, Gujarati, Urdu, Bengali, Punjabi, and South Indian languages

★ 'TV Japan' - Japanese programming, including live Sumo tournaments

★ 'TV Polonia' - Telewizja Polska's international channel
