INTERSTATE 229 (SOUTH DAKOTA)


'Interstate 229' (abbreviated 'I-229') in South Dakota runs approximately 10 miles (16 km) mostly within the city limits of Sioux Falls, the largest city in the state. It goes from Interstate 29 (just southwest of the city limits) to Interstate 90 (in the extreme northeast of Sioux Falls). In between, the interstate travels through parts of southern and eastern Sioux Falls.
