INTERSTATE 75 IN GEORGIA
(Redirected from Interstate 75 (Georgia))
In the U.S. state of Georgia, Interstate 75 runs north-south through Atlanta. It is also designated - but not signed - as 'State Route 401'. In downtown Atlanta, I-75 joins with Interstate 85 as the Downtown Connector. The whole route of I-75 in Georgia runs along the U.S. Route 41 corridor. The portion of I-75 that runs from the Chattahoochee River northward to the Tennessee state line was in 1998 named the Larry McDonald Memorial Highway.
In March 2007, I-75 in Atlanta was the site of the 2007 Atlanta I-75 Charter Bus Accident.
Bolded cities are officially-designated control cities for signs.
