INTERSTATE 85 IN VIRGINIA
Interstate 85 is a major interstate highway that links many areas of the southeastern United States from Montgomery, Alabama to Petersburg, Virginia.
Completed in 1972, I-85 runs for 69 miles [1] across Virginia from southwest to northeast from the North Carolina state line near Palmer Springs through South Hill to its northern terminus at Interstate 95 in Petersburg, which is about 25 miles south of Richmond.
