ISSAQUAH 130 CLASS FERRY


The 'Issaquah 130 Class' ferries were originally built as the Issaquah 100 Class and later upgraded to a 130 car capacity. All of these vessels have also had the interior refurbished. The 'Chelan' was upgraded to SOLAS standards in 2005, allowing her to be one of two Washington State Ferries certified to make the crossing between the United States and British Columbia.[1]

The Cathlamet and the Kititas are on the Mulkilteo--Clinton run. The Chelan is in the San Juans. The Kitsap is on the Fauntlroy--Vashon--Southworth run. The Issaquah is being painted.
