IVAN DOMBROVSKYY

'Ivan Petrovich Dombrovskyy' (; born March 7, 1947 in Odessa Oblast) is Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine since August 4, 2006 and it's Chairman since September 19, 2006. He was elected under Congress of judges' quota and is the oldest among current judges of Constitutional Court. He resigned from the position of the chairman of the Constitutional Court on May 17, 2007, and was replaced by Valeriy Pshenychnyy.After Pshenychnyy was fired along with deputy chairman Stanic, Dombrovskyy seems to became acting Chairman as the oldest judge in the court. He presides on the few session prior July 10, 2007 when new chairman was elected.
