J. P. TARAVELLA HIGH SCHOOL

'J.P. Taravella High School' is a secondary school located in Coral Springs, Florida which teaches grades 9-12. It has achieved the status of an "A" school and is ranked within the top 1% of all public high schools in the United States. It was also the recipient of the national school of excellence award, and also was a State of Florida "A" rated school. Recently however, Taravella has been facing various problems. Due to poor FCAT reading scores the school's grade has dropped to C, and is only four points away from a D.
