JACQUES LA RAMEE

'Jacques La Ramee' was a French-Canadian fur trader who lived in Wyoming during the 1820's. He was shot down by arrows next to a river which was subsequently named the Laramie River, along with Laramie, Wyoming, Fort Laramie, and Laramie County, Wyoming.
