In ''The Joiner King''

A petty smuggler, Jae Junn is first seen in ''The Joiner King'' running cargo for the Killik nest Lizil along with his copilot, the Ewok Tarfang. He offers to help Luke Skywalker, Mara Jade, and Saba Sebatyne find the seven Jedi who went into the Unknown Regions, and travels with them as a sort of copilot.

In ''The Unseen Queen''

After the Killiks resettle in the Utegetu Nebula in ''The Unseen Queen'', Junn and Tarfang get jobs delivering sculptures for the Squibs. Little do they know that the sculptures contain a handful of Gorog (Killik insects used as assassins). Jae and Tarfang find Luke and Han Solo captured by Saras. They help them escape, and the four of them go to find the Gorog. When they finally find Dark Jedi Lomi Plo, however, Junn is the only one who can see her. With Junn acting as Luke's "eyes", they drive off Lomi Plo, and at the end of the battle, Admiral Nek Bwau'tu gives both Tarfang and Junn lucrative contracts working for Galactic Alliance Intelligence.

In ''The Swarm War''

Junn and Tarfang run into Han and Princess Leia again when they run into them on Lizil searching for Solo's daughter Jaina and her friend Zekk.

In ''Inferno''

Juun makes a minor appearance as an Alliance Intelligence agent making sure that the Wookies join on the side of the Alliance. He ultimately puts his loyalty to the Alliance over that of his friends and attempts to stop Han and Leia from speaking to the Wookies.
