JAKE ROENICK

'Jake Roenick' is a police officer in the 2005 remake of the movie Assault on Precinct 13. The character is played by Ethan Hawke. Prior to the start of the movie storyline, he lost both of his partners in a fatal shooting. This event had quite a traumatic impact on Roenick, and it resulted in his indulgence of both booze and pills. He seems to have a tense sexual dynamic with his appointed psychiatrist, Dr. Alex Sabian (Maria Bello).
