JAMES M. ROE

'James M. Roe' (born 1943) is an American amateur astronomer who resided in Oaxaca, Mexico from 1995 to 2003. He currently lives in St. Charles County, Missouri (a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri) where he is the founder and executive director of the Alliance for Astronomy, Inc., a non-profit corporation working to develop an astronomy center in St. Charles County.
He is the only recorded discoverer of asteroids from the country of Mexico.
