Paid speaking enagagement
In July 2007, reports arose that Miklaszewski had been paid $30,000 from the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce to give a speech at the group's Business Expo 2007. However, NBC had previously banned its reporters from accepting paid speaking engagements; Miklaszewski's speech apparently violated this policy.[1]
