JOHN COLSON
'Johnathan 'John' Colson' (1680–1760) was a Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at Cambridge University. He was an undergraduate at Christ Church, Oxford, but did not take a degree.
He is remembered for producing several of Sir Isaac Newton's works including ''De Methodis Serierum et Fluxionum'' in English in 1736; see ''Method of Fluxions''.
