'Jordan School District' is the largest of Utah school districts, with 3,700 teachers who educate more than 80,000 students. An additional 3,500 employees provide support services for the system. Boundaries span 250 square miles in the southern half of Salt Lake County extending from the Wasatch Mountain range on the east to the Oquirrh range on the west.
As one of the fastest growing Districts in the state, Jordan School District consists of 89 schools: 57 elementary schools (30 of which are year-round), 17 middle schools, ten high schools, one alternative high school, two applied technology centers, and three special schools
