JOSEPH MARTIN (GENERAL)

'Joseph Martin' was a brigadier general in the Virginia militia during the American Revolutionary War. He had an estate called Scuffle Hill near the Smith River in Henry County, Virginia. The city of Martinsville, Virginia is named after him.
