JOSHUA SIMON
'Joshua Simon' (in Hebrew: 'יהושע סימון') is an art curator, journalist and filmmaker working in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Joshua Simon is the Co-Editor of ''Maayan'', a poetry and art magazine and the editor of ''Maarvon'' magazine, the only Israeli cinema-magazine.
Joshua Simon is one of the founders and leaders of the Free Academy group.

Art and cinema
Simon has curated many exhibitions, most of them political or social. He curated 'Anihu' in Herzliya Museum of Art (2005) and 'Sharon' (2004) that put parallel lines between Ariel Sharon and the Sharon region in Israel.
On May 2006, Simon curated the exhibition ''Doron'' (gift in Hebrew) that refers to Doron Sabag (דורון סבג), an Israeli art patron and a CEO of O.R.S. human resources. The exhibition dealt with Art and Labour rights.
Joshua Simon directed 4 short movies with 'Baboon Group', including 'The Radicals' and 'City Hole'.
Simon published the poetry book 'National Citizens'.
Journalism
In business magazine Globes, Simon has published articles since 2002, on various item and issues, such as interviews with Menahem Golan, the education minister Limor Livnat, the defence minister Amir Peretz, and the Israeli Prime ministers Ehud Ulmert and Benjamin Netanyahu.
