In February 2006, JotSpot was named part of Business 2.0 Next Net 25 and in May 2006, it was honored as one of InfoWorld's 15 Start-ups to Watch.
In October 2006, JotSpot was acquired by Google.[2]

Applications


JotSpot's wiki has features such as the ability to send email to each page in the wiki, WYSIWYG editing, and embedded spreadsheet capabilities.[3]
Beyond its basic structured wiki product, JotSpot also offered other applications including JotSpot Family Site, Class Reunion Planner, JotSpot Tracker and more. JotSpot has been closed to new registrations since the Google acquisition was announced. Google is indicating that it will be rolling out JotSpot during Autumn 2007.
