KōAN (KAMAKURA PERIOD)


was a Japanese era after Kenji and before Shō'ō that spanned from 1278 to 1288. Reigning emperors were Emperor Go-Uda and Emperor Fushimi.
There is another era using the same reading but different kanji (康安).
