KK PARTIZAN

'KK Partizan' is a basketball club from Belgrade, Serbia. Partizan currently participates in the Adriatic League, Euroleague and the Sinalco Superleague. Their homeground is Pionir Hall. KK Partizan is one of the several sports clubs in Serbia that carry the name "Partizan".

History

KK Partizan was the European champion in 1992 with curiosity of having won the title, although playing all of the games on foreign grounds due to UN sanctions. They also won 3 Radivoj Korac Cups in 1978, 1979 and 1989 and NLB League in 2007.
KK Partizan is actual Serbian basketball champion and holder of 14 national champion titles, of which the last six were won in a row. They have also won 8 national basketball cups.

Partizan has one of the best basketball schools in Europe. In the past, many of Pastizan players achived world fame, such as Hall of fame member Drazen Dalipagic, former NBA player Vlade Divac, and European legend Sasa Djordjevic, Predrag Danilovic, Zarko Paspalj, Dragan Kicanovic, Zeljko Rebraca... Many others have played and won all that is to be won in Europe. Now, Partizan is still known for growing great youngsters, but the financial situacion don't allow club to achive formal fame, and yougsters, after they are recognised, go aboroad in bigger and richer clubs.
