'KOVC' is an AM radio station based in Valley City, ND. It is an information station, with frequent weather, news and sports updates. Operating on the station 1490, it is the headquarters of Dakota Country Radio with KDDR of Oakes, ND, and KDAK of Carrington, ND.
Dakota Country plays mostly country music, and covers local and national sports games.
