KAPPA CENTAURI
'Kappa Centauri' (κ Cen / κ Centauri) is a binary star in the constellation Centaurus. It is approximately 539 light years from Earth. It also has the traditional name 'Ke Kwan', from the Mandarin 騎官 ''qíguān'', meaning "the cavalry officer".
The primary component, 'κ Centauri A', is a blue-white B-type subgiant with an apparent magnitude of +3.13. It is a spectroscopic binary and has a companion located 0.12 arcseconds away.
