KATHMANDU UNIVERSITY MEDICAL SCHOOL
'Kathmandu University Medical School' ('KUMS') is one of the undergraduate schools of Kathmandu University. It is located in Kavrepalanchok District, Nepal. KUMS has about 221 students in the M.B.B.S. program.

Establishment
The school was conceptualized by joint efforts of Dr.Arjun Karki, Kathmandu University and Dhulikhel Hospital. It was established in 2001 in association with B and B Hospital, Scheer Memorial Hospital and Hospital and Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children.
Aims and objectives
The school is a non-profit organization with a motto of producing "technically competent and socially responsible" doctors. The main focus of the organization is to improve the health status of Nepal.
