'''Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List''' is an Emmy award winning television show which premiered on Bravo in August of 2005. Griffin also debuted four comedy specials during the show's run, ''Everybody Can Suck It'', ''Strong Black Woman'', ''Kathy Griffin Is...Not Nicole Kidman'', and ''The D-List''. The show follows the struggle of self-proclaimed "D-list" celebrity Kathy Griffin to climb the Hollywood ladder. Her relationship with her parents and husband was also heavily featured. The first season of the show was nominated for a 2006 Emmy Award in the category "Outstanding Reality Program." The show has just been nominated on July 19th, 2007, for another Emmy Award in the same category, and won. The show has recently been renewed for a third season that premiered on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 10:00PM on Bravo. The third season premiered with the highest ratings for the show with approximately one million viewers. The season finale aired July 24, 2007.
In Australia, the second season is currently being shown on The Comedy Channel. The first and second seasons are being shown in the UK on the E! channel, premiering June 3rd 2007 at 10pm. The first two seasons were broadcast on the Toronto based independent station Sun TV in Canada while the third season was sold to the national cable station The Comedy Network.

DVD releases

On March 16, 2007, Universal announced that Season 1 of "D-List" would be released onto DVD on June 12, 2007, a week after the premiere of the third season^[1]. Special features were announced when menu screenshots came out on April 6, 2007. These include a Season 2 Sneak Peek and the special "Kathy Griffin Is... Not Nicole Kidman"^[2]
