KIM RICHARDS


'Kim Richards' (born September 19, 1964 in Mineola, New York) is an American actress.
Her career began as a child in the early 1970s.[1]. From 1970-1971, Richards starred as Prudence Everett in the television series ''Nanny and the Professor''. She also starred in several Disney films, including ''Escape to Witch Mountain (1975)'', ''No Deposit, No Return (1976)'', and ''Return from Witch Mountain (1978)''. In the John Carpenter film ''Assault on Precinct 13 (1976)'', she played the child who was murdered. She later starred in the short-lived series ''Hello, Larry'' and appeared as a guest on numerous episodes of popular American television shows, including ''Diff'rent Strokes'', ''Alice'', ''The Love Boat'', ''Little House on the Prairie'', ''CHiPs'', ''Magnum, P.I.'' and ''The Dukes of Hazzard''.
For a long time, her last roles were in the films ''Meatballs 2'', ''Tuff Turf'' and ''Escape (1990 film)''. However, Richards came out of retirement in 2002 to appear in the short film ''The Blair Witch Mountain Project'' and later appeared in ''Black Snake Moan''.
She has two sisters who are also actresses, Kyle Richards and Kathy Richards, the latter being the mother of celebrities Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton.[2]
