KINGSTON (HUNDRED)

Kingston is to the north of the Surrey hundreds
'Kingston' was a hundred in what is now Surrey, England. It includes the town of Kingston upon Thames.
The hundred contains six parishes, and part of another; and is cut into two divisions; the first is 6,655 acres and the second is 3,618. The population in 1851 was 15,773 people in the first division and 2,421 in the second. Ten years later the population was 22,997; an increase of over 2,000.[1]
