KUNSTHALLE

(Redirected from Kunstmuseum)
'Kunsthalle' is, generally, a German term for an art gallery mounting temporary exhibitions, and supported by the local 'Kunstverein', an art association of local collectors and artists. In many German cities, the local 'Kunstverein' established permanent collections similar to those of the 'Kunstmuseum', which derive mainly from earlier feudal times.
