KUSATSU, GUNMA
'Kusatsu' (草津町; ''Kusatsu-machi'') is a town located in Agatsuma District, Gunma, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 7,669 and a population density of 154.18 persons per km². The total area is 49.74 km².
Kusatsu is extremely famous all around Japan for having wonderful hot springs. The water is believed to be able to cure skin ailments, and smells highly of sulfur.
