LéON DION

'Léon Dion' (9 October 192220 August 1997) was a Quebec political scientist.
Dion was born in Saint-Arsène de Rivière-du-Loup. He founded the department of political science at Université Laval with Gérard Bergeron and Maurice Tremblay in 1954.
He was the father of the former federal minister and current Liberal leader Stéphane Dion.
