'La Push' is a small unincorporated community in Clallam County, Washington. It is home to the Quileute Indian Tribe and is located along the Quileute River. It is known for its surfing and whaling, as well as natural beauty.
One of the main attractions of La Push is the Ocean Park Resort along James Beach.
The name La Push is an infusion of the French ''la bouche'', meaning "mouth", into Chinook Jargon. It describes the town's location at the mouth of the river.[1]
La Push is home to the westernmost ZIP Code in the Continental United States, 98350.
La Push is also a setting in the highly acclaimed Twilight (novel) series by Stephenie Meyer.
