LAKE ACWORTH

'Lake Acworth' is a 90-acre ^[1] lake located southwest of the city of Acworth, Georgia. It is located in the extreme northwestern part of Cobb County. The lake impounds Proctor Creek, and outflows into Allatoona Lake.^[2] The city of Acworth operates 'Acworth Beach', a public beach and park along the northern shore of the lake.
