'Lanikai' is a town located in the City & County of Honolulu, Hawaii, United States, in the Ko'olaupoko District of O'ahu on the windward coast at Kailua Bay.
Lanikai has approximately 1,816 residents and 758 homes, according to the 2000 census. More than one-third of the households are rental units. Median household income was $79,197 in 1999. A little more than half the residents are in the labor force.
Lanikai Beach was rated as one of the top ten beaches in the world by Sherman's Travel Magazine.[1]
