SANTA CLARA PROVINCE

'Santa Clara' (also called 'Las Villas' after 1940) was a historical province of Cuba. Until 1978, its territory was that of the modern Cuban provinces of Cienfuegos, Sancti Spíritus, and Villa Clara.
