LAWN TENNIS ASSOCIATION
The 'Lawn Tennis Association' ('LTA') is the governing body of tennis in Great Britain, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. Its objects are to promote and develop tennis and to advance and safeguard the interests of the sport and the governing body. It was founded in 1888, and since February 2007 is headquartered at the new National Tennis Centre in Roehampton (South West London) having moved from its previous location at the Queen's Club.
The LTA had a turnover of £45.8 million for the year ended 30 September 2005. LTA Annual Reports
