LAWRENCE BROOK

'Lawrence Brook' is a tributary of the Raritan River in Middlesex County, New Jersey in the United States.
A tributary of the Raritan River, the scenic Lawrence Brook is a 10-mile succession of lakes (Davidson's Mill Pond, Farrington Lake, Mill Pond and Westons Mill's Pond) and flows through five municipalities (South Brunswick, Milltown, North Brunswick, East Brunswick and New Brunswick). It flows entirely in Middlesex County, New Jersey.
The Lawrence Brook crosses Rutgers University, flowing along the Equine Research farm, the Vegetable Research Farm, Rutgers Gardens and Helyar's Woods). Its lowest section, near the Raritan, is tidal and hosts some marine wildlife.
One of the few remaining native forests of New Jersey, Helyar's woods is located along the Weston's Mill Pond, next to Rutgers Gardens. The Lawrence Brook starts in a body of water called Davidsons Mill Pond in South Brunswick, New Jersey. Then flows to its mouth with the Raritan River at Weston's Mill Pond in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
