LEUCIPPUS (BIRD)
''' Leucippus ''' is a genus of hummingbirds. Its members are found in western South America. Two species, ''L. chionogaster'' and ''L. viridicauda'', are commonly placed in the genus ''Amazilia'', while a third species, ''L. hypostictus'', often is placed in ''Amazilia'' or the monotypic ''Taphrospilus''.
