LEWIS J. STADLEN

'Lewis J. Stadlen' (born March 7, 1947) is an American character actor.
Born in Brooklyn, New York and son of voice actor Allen Swift (Stadlen was the original family name), Stadlen studied acting with Sanford Meisner and Stella Adler. He made his Broadway debut as Groucho Marx in the musical comedy ''Minnie's Boys'' in 1970.
His film credits include ''Portnoy's Complaint'', ''Serpico'', ''The Verdict'', ''To Be or Not to Be'', and ''In & Out''.
On television, he had a regular role in the first season of ''Benson''. He also has appeared in ''Law & Order'' and ''The Sopranos''.
Stadlen is married to Broadway singer and dancer Mary MacLeod.
