Atris

'Atris' is a legendary Jedi Master who appeared in the video game ''. Before the Mandalorian Wars, Atris was a Jedi historian and the apparent authority of the Jedi High Council. She was unmatched in force ability, due to her extensive studies in Jedi and Sith histories. Atris saw the Jedi Order as the symbol of light, justice and perfection, as she herself was the personification of the light. All that changed however when the Jedi Exile defied the Jedi Order to participate in the Mandalorian Wars with Darth Revan. Having one whom she cared about defy everything she believed in shook her to her very core. As a member of the Jedi Council, Atris feared being ostracized by her colleagues if she followed the Exile to war. Part of her wanted to punish the Exile for shattering the ideal of the Jedi Order, while part of her wanted to understand why the Exile defied the Council with such conviction. In the beginning, Atris naively pronounced death for the Exile posthumously after the trial. As she privately sought to understand the Exile's motivations (part of the reason for her keeping of Sith Holocrons), she clung even more desperately to her perfect view of the Jedi to the point of fanaticism. It built up a pressure that finally exploded when Darth Traya coerced Atris into ceasing her self-denials - and accept her new dark persona. Part of the reason why Atris hid on Telos is that she believed she could more easily maintain her perfect world in isolation. As Darth Traya once said, Atris had no one to blame but herself. No one forced her into the choices she made - not the Jedi, not Traya and certainly not the Exile.
At the time that the Exile returned, she was one of the few surviving Jedi, most of the rest having fallen to the Sith Lords Darth Nihilus and Darth Sion, and their army of Sith assassins. She had taken refuge in a Jedi Academy located under a polar ice cap on the planet Telos, where she has hidden most of the Jedi's valuable artifacts and resources, such as Sith Holocrons. She sought to remedy what she saw as a fundamental flaw of the Jedi Order: the lack of any mechanism to prevent Jedi from falling to the dark side, and repeatedly wreaking havoc on the galaxy. To that end, she trained a group of half-sisters, specially equipped and trained to resist Force powers and if necessary use their Echani combat skills to subdue wayward Jedi. It was possible in ''Knights of the Old Republic II'' to have one of these Handmaidens in the player's party only if the player chooses a male character.
Atris planned to eventually rebuild the Jedi Order, but she became corrupted by her own arrogance and by delving into the forbidden knowledge of her collection of Sith and Jedi Holocrons.
In the game, if the main character (the Exile) is set as a male, some discussion with the last Handmaiden reveals that Atris may have harbored feelings for the Exile, and the Exile's decision to leave the Order for the Mandalorian War was in fact the trigger for her eventual fall to the dark side. Kreia realized that Atris was walking down the path to the dark side. As such she informed her former ally, Darth Nihilus, that there was a Jedi academy on Telos. Darth Nihilus attacked Telos believing that he could feed on the Force-users there. Since he would find only Atris, he would destroy her and then die of starvation. Kreia was especially proud of this plan because it would eliminate two major threats to the galaxy in one stroke.
When the Exile returned, following Kreia, Atris clashed with the Exile in an epic lightsaber duel, and was defeated. The Exile, however, spared her life, and sealed her in a cell to await the judgment of the Council. This action led her down the path of redemption, something Atris believed the Exile would never have done.[1]

Baas, Bodo

'Bodo Baas' was a Jedi Master and a Gatekeeper of the Holocron that Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa-Solo retrieve from the reborn Emperor Palpatine, and which was eventually destroyed on Yavin 4 by the spirit of Exar Kun.
Bodo Baas was part of a Jedi group that lived in the Adega system, six hundred years before the destruction of the first Death Star. Eventually becoming a Jedi Master, Bodo inherited a Jedi Holocron, a glowing cube which held stories of Jedi of the past. Master Bodo recorded his stories and those of other Jedi onto the Holocron so that future generations of Jedi could use their knowledge and benefit from the wealth of experience contained within.
A Holocron can only be activated by the touch of a Force user; once activated a "Gatekeeper" would tell stories of ancient Jedi and give lessons on the Force. The Gatekeeper could interact with the user and could answer questions with related stories. Bodo Baas became the Gatekeeper for his Holocron.
During the great purge of the Jedi, Emperor Palpatine had Bodo Baas executed for "crimes against the Empire" and the Holocron was taken to Wayland. Though the Emperor could listen to most of the stories contained within the Holocron, he could not access those stories only reserved for Jedi using the Light side of the Force.
Bodo Baas was a descendant of the Jedi Master Vodo-Siosk Baas, who was a contemporary of the Jedi Master Arca Jeth, about 4,000 years before the Galactic Civil War.

Bodo Baas's Master

An 'unnamed Jedi Master', around 1,000 BBY, made a prophecy that predicted the birth of twin brother and sister Jedi of the Skywalker family. The Master also predicted that a Dark Side Lord would attempt to steal the sister's unborn child, and that the twins would have to join forces to defeat him.
Around 400 years later, this Master was part of the group of Jedi living in the Adega system, and took on Bodo Baas as Padawan. Baas included his master's prophecy in .

Baas, Vodo-Siosk

'Vodo-Siosk Bass' was a Krevaaki Jedi Master from Dantooine known as the teacher of future Jedi Knights , , and Nomi Sunrider. Baas was expert at the creation of the lightsaber and could create such a weapon in mere days. He was also credited with being the Grand Master of the Jedi Order during his time.
Baas was also the teacher of the Jedi Knight Exar Kun before he turned to the Sith teachings and the Dark Side of The Force. Despite his own proficiency with lightsabers, Baas preferred to use a simple staff which he wielded adeptly against any other lightsaber. He augmented the staff's strength through the Force.
Thousands of years before the Battle of Yavin, Baas was greatly troubled by the rise of Sith power, especially because his former student was at the heart of the disturbance. He felt that he had failed, and returned to Coruscant after the capture of Ulic Qel-Droma. Baas hoped to sway the former Jedi back from the Dark Side, but was foiled by the appearance of Exar Kun. Kun challenged him to a duel, using his new and the first double-bladed lightsaber, and Baas was brutally slain by his former student on the floor of the ancient Senate Chamber.
Baas later appeared in the Jedi Academy trilogy to help Luke Skywalker train his candidates for the new Order of Jedi Knights, serving as the gatekeeper of the Jedi Holocron. However, the Holocron was destroyed by the spirit of Exar Kun. Baas' own spirit later appeared when the first class of the Jedi Academy confronted Kun, and he disappeared back into the Force, knowing Kun was gone at last.

Ban, Yuthura

'Yuthura Ban' is the apprentice to Uthar Wynn, the head of the Sith academy on Korriban, as seen in the 2003 video game ''. Yuthura is a purple Twi'lek with numerous tattoos, some Sith, some from her past as a slave.
Originally from Sleheyron, Yuthura Ban was a slave to a Hutt called Omeesh. A cruel master, Omeesh tortured slaves regularly. One night, Yuthura slit Omeesh's throat when he had her alone in his bedchamber. She escaped on a freighter and was abandoned on a desolate asteroidal planetoid upon discovery.
The Force was strong with Yuthura, however, and she was soon discovered by a passing Jedi, who decided to train her and admitted her to the Academy, despite her being older than most Jedi padawans.
Her abilities were excellent, as was her potential, but she lacked peace due to her past. She had sworn revenge on all slavers and found the Jedi's lack of action intolerable. She fell to the dark side of the Force, believing she could use her power to assist the slaves. Upon Darth Revan's creation of a Sith Academy on Korriban, Ban enrolled, and eventually became Uthar's apprentice and second-in-command. However, the thirst for power, due to the dark side corruption of her mind, made her forget her original oath.
Yuthura is met during the game in a bar on Korriban called "The Drunk Side". She offered the player a chance to enter the Sith academy to train, unknowing that the player was in fact acting for the Jedi council. Upon entry, asked about her past, and despite some reluctance, Yuthura gave it to him. She was also essential to passing the "prestige" tests to gain the chance to be a Sith. This allowed Revan to enter the tomb of Naga Sadow, where an ancient Rakatan Star Map was hidden.
Also, she offered Revan a chance to betray Uthar with her assistance so that she could become Master of the academy, while the player would become her apprentice. If, in addition, the player character has befriended Yuthura in the Sith Academy before the final trial, she may be redeemed and turned back to the Light Side of the Force. By siding with Yuthura against Uthar in the tomb of Naga Sadow, then sparing her life and persuading her to rethink her ways, Yuthura will leave the Sith. If the player subsequently travels to Dantooine Yuthura will be found in the outer courtyard, until the player collects the third Star Map, then the player can no longer travel to Dantooine, as the Sith gave it the same treatment as Taris.

Bindo, Jolee

'Jolee Bindo' is a fictional character in the ''Star Wars'' Expanded Universe, featured in the 2003 videogame ''. His voice was provided by actor Kevin Michael Richardson. A well-learned and far-traveled Jedi Master, in the game Bindo is portrayed as a Master-Class Jedi Consular (Like Master Kreia), one of the three classes of Jedi made available when one undergoes Jedi training on Dantooine.
Revan, in his quest with Bastila Shan to rediscover the Rakata Star Maps and stop Darth Malak, finds the old Jedi in the Shadowlands of the planet Kashyyyk. After helping Jolee scare off Czerka Corporation hunters, he joins Revan's party.
After long conversations with him, Revan discovers that Jolee was a Padawan during the Great Sith War. Unlike most of his fellow Jedi, Bindo was able to see the "grey areas" in morality, and engaged in many activities frowned upon by the Order (such as smuggling) in order to help the less fortunate. His ship was shot down during a smuggling run by a Force-sensitive woman, . Bindo fell in love with Nayama, and during his escape, convinced her to come with him and learn the ways of the Force. He taught her against the will of the Jedi Council, and eventually married (which also went strongly against the Jedi Code.) It is unknown exactly when Nayama completed sufficient training to ascend to Knighthood, but it is assumed that Jolee became a Jedi Master in turn as this was the Jedi custom.
During the Great Sith War, Bindo and Nayama met Nomi Sunrider and became good friends, fighting in many battles together. Their love was short-lived, however, spoiling after Nayama fell to the dark side, lured by Sith Lord Exar Kun. She attempted to convert Bindo, and tried to kill him after he refused. Bindo won the duel, but could not bring himself to kill her. She later went on to kill many Jedi during the war before she, herself, was killed. Bindo would never fully recover from the betrayal.
Following the war, the Jedi Council decided that Bindo had "learned wisdom the hard way" and planned to promote him to full Jedi Knight status. Jolee, however, felt that the Order had let him down, rejected his promotion, and left to wander space. However, his ship malfunctioned over the planet Kashyyyk and he crash landed on the planet's surface. There, he lived as a hermit (occasionally protecting lost Wookiee younglings and experimenting with a Star Map) until discovered by the reformed Revan. After considerable amount of relating between Revan and Jolee, the older Jedi informs Revan that he "did it all for the Wookiees".
Jolee later joined with Revan on his quest to find the Star Forge. Jolee told Revan much about his past and the two became good friends. Jolee even taught Revan to not believe the Jedi's ideas about love. He helped Juhani save Revan from falling to the dark side again when they were on Lehon: Revan encountered a fallen Bastila Shan, the woman whom he secretly loved. Jolee helped Revan restrain his emotions and Revan remained with the light. Jolee was later honored as one of the Republic's saviors after the Star Forge was destroyed.
It is unknown what became of Jolee after the end of ''Knights of the Old Republic'', although there are several references to him in '', mostly in items. His history is also used as a brief comic relief. During one of the Jedi Exile's conversations with the last Handmaiden, the player has the option to respond to a question about whether or not Jedi have ever had relationships, to which the player can respond with "I believe that's called 'pulling a Bindo'".

Bnar, Ood

'Ood Bnar' was a member of the plant species Neti and a Jedi Master from the planet Ryyk. When Ryyk was destroyed by a supernova, he became one of the last remaining Neti. He soon found out that he was one of only a handful of Neti not on Ryyk - he survived only because he was on Ossus teaching students.
Soon before the Sith War he had one Jedi Padawan called , which later would be on the . In his last days awake he gives her a solari lightsaber crystal, very powerful for lightsiders (this can be seen in the videogame '' if the player reads the solari crystal description).
When he fought in the Sith War he planted himself in the ground over a huge cache of lightsabers to prevent the Sith from using them.
He awakened 4000 years later on the planet Ossus to save Luke Skywalker and the Ysanna Jedi Jem from Executor Sedriss. While Sedriss called electricity from Ossus' atmosphere, Bnar drained power from the planet's core. The subsequent release of these energies led to the death of both Sedriss and Bnar. Thus, Bnar sacrificed his life for Jem, thereby becoming one with the Force. He left behind in his place a small offspring. Presumably, it lived and continued to grow, leaving open the possibility that the Neti species may yet recover.
He was one of the few survivors of the Great Jedi Purge.

Boda, Ashka

'Ashka Boda' was an ancient Jedi Master who was murdered during the Great Jedi Purge. He was the holder of an ancient , of which Vodo-Siosk Baas was the Gatekeeper, at that time. Emperor Palpatine took control of the Holocron and stole its secrets. Later, Leia Organa stole this artifact from the resurrected Emperor, and gave it to her brother Luke for use in his Academy. It was later destroyed by the spirit of Exar Kun.
Boda kept in his possession a created by Bodo Baas. When Count Dooku went to the Gree Enclave to purchase the solar sails for his , reports of his presence in the Enclave reached the Jedi — but only after Dooku's departure from the Gree worlds. Ashka Boda and fellow Jedi Master Jabidus Inspra led an investigative task force of five Jedi from the Jedi Temple into the Enclave to discover why Dooku had been there.
In his old age, Boda was captured during the latter stages of the Great Jedi Purge in 10 BBY. He was escorted in the Imperial dungeon ship by Imperial sentinels — their first appearance away from Byss. The sentinels took Boda to Imperial Center; there, Palpatine murdered Boda and took possession of his holocron. Palpatine used the information in the holocron to help create ''The Book of Anger''.

Brianna the Handmaiden

'The Last Handmaiden' is a female character from the ''. She was born in 3,976 BBY.
The Handmaiden is an Echani fighter that joins the party of the Jedi Exile after leaving the , but only if the main character is male (however, the game can be modified to allow her to join even if the main character is female.). She and her sisters attend to the Jedi Master Atris, which is why they are all called "handmaidens."
The offspring of Echani parents are typically identical in appearance; however, the Handmaiden looks different from her sisters because she has a different mother. Her mother was Jedi Master Arren Kae, who fought in the Mandalorian War. Once the Exile spars with her three times and learns of her heritage from Kreia, Brianna lets him train her to be a Jedi Guardian (or Dark Jedi Guardian, depending on the Exile's alignment) like her mother, thus betraying Atris and her half-sisters.
After this happened, Kreia, deep in meditation, reached through the Force and touched Atris's mind with a vision of Brianna's betrayal.
On Nar Shaddaa, Handmaiden meets a Twilek named Domo, who asks her to dance for Vogga the Hutt. If the Exile agrees, she is seen wearing a red, provocative bikini-like outfit and sent to Vogga. He eventually gets physically tired of watching her performance (Hutts not being known for endurance, ex Jabba), and falls asleep.
The Handmaiden took Kreia to Atris after she killed the jedi masters and was suddenly confronted by her five sisters. They accused her of breaking her oath by abandoning them, and becoming corrupted by the dark side and the Exile's training. The Handmaiden realized then too late that Atris had betrayed her and lied about her mission to her sisters, but she could not convince them of the truth. The five handmaidens surrounded her and pronounced a judgment of death on her, and despite her pleas she was forced to do battle with them all, using the Force to incapacitate them all at once. Against her wishes, she finally proved she was the “Last of the Handmaidens” no longer, when she single-handedly defeated them all.
Moments later, Brianna was bewildered to see Atris enter the room amidst the fallen bodies and feign concern for her. Hurt and confused, Brianna asked that she explain herself, and then the Jedi showed her dark side corruption and attacked her. The two of them did battle in the council chamber, and despite her ever-growing combat skills, Brianna was outmatched by the veteran Jedi. Atris quickly lost her temper and put an end to the duel, unexpectedly drawing upon the dark side and unleashing the powerful Sith technique –Force Lightning. She was unprepared and thrown to her knees after one hit, but the spiteful Atris tortured her with another round of lightning, her jealousy burning over her closeness to the Exile and accusing her as Brianna laid writhing in agony. Rendered hurt and helpless, it seemed Atris was going to finish her off, when suddenly the Jedi Exile appeared at the last second, and challenged Atris to fight and leave Brianna alone. Only further angered by the Exile's display of concern, she struck Brianna one last time with lightning and, leaving her for dead on the floor, retreated to her chamber to do battle with the Exile.
After the Exile dueled with Atris, Brianna surprisingly managed to survive the vicious assault, and now without the oath to her sisters or her mistress to hold her there, she once again pledged herself to the Exile in gratitude. This time she would never let the stigma of her family hold her back from following her heart again. She renounced her title as Last of the Handmaidens, and accepted her true identity for the first time, as well as her name (which up to this point, she had kept secret even from the Exile).
After the Exile defeats her previous mistress Atris, who had fallen to the dark side, the handmaiden's name is revealed to be Brianna. Brianna is one of the two romanceable NPCs in the game along with the former Nihilus student, Visas Marr.
After the events in Brianna becomes a Jedi Master and reforms the Jedi Order from the Academy on Telos.
If the Exile fell to the Dark Side, Brianna does not rebuild the Jedi Order on Telos, but it is rebuilt anyway later in the series.
Brianna can give the player a special Jedi robe, called "Handmaiden's Robe" which belonged to her mother, Arren Kae. If triggered, an in-game bug permits the player to receive the robe endlessly.
According to Chris Avellone's comments on the Obsidian Entertainment Forum, she is 25 years old. It is also stated that Brianna may or may not have travelled with the Exile and her status as a Jedi is ambiguously canon. For more information, see on Wookieepedia.

Chamma

'Chamma' was a long-lived Jedi Master prior to the Great Sith War.
As a Jedi Knight Chamma was part of a team sent to investigate a distress signal from a crashed Republic ship on . The team traveled to Athiss aboard the ''Bastion''. On the planet, they encountered overpowering Sithspawn which killed Chamma's fellow Jedi, and which Chamma was only able to defeat by giving into his anger.
Feeling abandoned by the Force, he exiled himself to . There, he was found by Jedi Master Noab Hulis. She explained that the Sithspawn had simply been more powerful than Chamma at the time and thus able to cut Chamma off from the light side of the Force: Chamma had not been abandoned by the Force, he had abandoned the Force by not continuing his Jedi training, through which he could in time become stronger than the Sithspawn had been.
After attaining the rank of Jedi Master, Chamma established a Jedi academy on H'ratth, where he often took Padawans to concentrate on the Force at a pinnacle of stone called "the Crag." One of his Padawans was Andur Sunrider. Andur eventually surpassed his teacher, who sent Andur to train with Master Thon on Ambria, sending with him a number of Adegan crystals. Sadly, these crystals led to Andur being murdered before reaching Ambria.

Dar, Chu-Gon

'Chu-Gon Dar' was a legendary Jedi Master of the Old Republic who took his residence on Mustafar. His mastery of the physical Force was unmatched throughout the Galaxy, until his death. He created the which was a very special item, capable of transforming some items into something completely different.

De, Rekpa

'Rekpa De' was a male Jedi Master when Yoda was still a Jedi Knight, around 850 BBY. He may have been a Twi'lek. De taught basic lightsaber skills to young Padawans in the Jedi Temple. His best known aphorism was:
''"Do not see a lightsaber duel as a choice between winning and losing. Every duel can have many, many outcomes. When you concentrate solely on winning — in lightsaber duels as in everything else — you sully your victory. Winning becomes worse than losing. It is better to lose well than to win badly. And it is always better to end a duel peacefully than to win or lose."''

Delbaeth, Ivixa

'Ivixa Delbaeth' was a Human female and Jedi Master.
She was one of the Jedi Masters who proposed the creation of the original ''Chu'unthor'' in 500 BBY. A Human female, she went on to become a teacher on the praxeum ship.

Del Gormo, N'Kata

'N'Kata Del Gormo' was a 'Hysalrian' Jedi Master who lived during the times of the Galactic Republic. He found and trained Yoda and his human friend.
Gormo was present on an unknown swamp world when the young Yoda and his Human friend crash-landed. After a couple of days, he met with the duo and informed them that they were in fact Force-sensitive; so began the duo's training in the ways of the Force.
It is unknown how much time Gormo spent training Yoda, but soon after the training was complete, a government starship hailing from the Galactic Republic came to "rescue" the pair of Force-sensitive individuals in response to their distress signal. Whether or not this had been planned by Gormo is unknown.

★ N'Kata Del Gormo was created by Chuck Hamilton, a ''Star Wars'' fan, for the backstory of his Hysalrian entry in the 'Design an Alien' contest held in the ''Star Wars Galaxy Magazines''.

★ In the original text, it was said that Yoda's training took place on Dagobah. That fact has been overridden by George Lucas stating that Yoda didn't visit Dagobah before his exile.

Diath, Sidrona

'Sidrona Diath' was an ancient Jedi Master and Supreme Chancellor of the Republic Senate, he was born in a failed mining colony on the planet Tatooine. He rose to power during the Great Sith War. He was also the father of Jedi Knight , who was killed in the of Exar Kun when the exploded, also ravaging nearby Ossus.
Diath would utter the immortal words "Koroght gaghgt Takt" in Tusken to the Jedi Council[2] before leaving the Jedi Temple to fight in the Great Sith War. The nearest Basic translation was "Blessed be your going out from us."2
Diath was slain in 3,997 BBY in the Battle of Basilisk and replaced as Supreme Chancellor by the time of the Great Sith War. His body was buried on Tatooine.
His final words were recalled thousands of years later by Jedi Master Eeth Koth during a discussion about the Jedi-turned-Tusken Sharad Hett.2
In 1 ABY, Diath's ancient grave site was defaced by an anti-Jedi group.[3]

Dominus

'Dominus' was a powerful Jedi Master during the Great Sith War.
A saggy-jowled, gray-skinned alien female, Dominus trained in the ways of the Jedi. During the War, Exar Kun corrupted Luka and sent her to kill Dominus. Dominus put up quite a fight, and the two Jedi mortally wounded each other. The murder scene was later investigated by the Jedi Shadows.

Dorak

'Dorak' is a Jedi Master from the video game '' - from the Star Wars Expanded Universe. Dorak is one of the Masters on the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine alongside Masters Zhar, Vandar, and Vrook. He was a during the Mandalorian Wars and the Jedi Civil War and was one of the many Jedi Masters who trained Revan during the future Dark Lord's time as a Padawan. He is also the character that the player character speaks to in order to choose his Jedi class. After having consulted the Jedi Archives about the Star Forge yet having found nothing of relevance, he confesses to total bafflement.
Dorak joined the Council on Dantooine at some point between 3,964 BBY and 3,956 BBY, replacing 'Bala Nisi'. Being the Chronicler, he knew much of the history of the Order. He trained a Twi'lek, , to succeed him as the Chronicler of the Academy, passing all of his knowledge to him.
During Revan's retaining at the , it was Master Dorak who introduced Revan to the basic tenets of the Order, teaching him fundamental history and discipline. The rest of Revan's training was taken care of by Master Zhar Lestin.
Master Dorak survived Darth Malak's and lived to see the end of the war. However, along with two other former members of the Dantooine Council, Vandar Tokare and Zhar Lestin, he was killed by Darth Nihilus during the Conclave on Katarr in 3,952 BBY.
In the of the game, the player learns through a dialogue with Vrook that Dorak is killed after the Sith Lord Darth Nihilus destroys the world of Katarr through his hunger for the Force.

Draay, Krynda

'Krynda Draay' was a Jedi Master of the pre-Ruusan Old Republic. She was a , the mother of 'Lucien Draay' and the founder of the Jedi Covenant. Her father may have been a as well.
Krynda's husband and sister died in the Great Sith War, and she blamed herself for not sensing the rise of Exar Kun. She distanced herself from the Jedi, but in 3,993 BBY agreed to train 'Q'Anilia'.
That was the beginning of the ; Krynda was personally training the Jedi Order's greatest Consulars to join her organization. However, this goal became an obsession, and blinded her to the rise of the dark side in the Order through other means until it was too late.
As of 3,964 BBY, she lived in the Draay estate on Coruscant and had as a household droid. She acted as an advisor of the five Jedi Masters running the on Taris. She sanctioned the , which was done at least partly out of the desire to protect her.
During a joint meditation on the , Master 'Q'Anilia' foresaw that some female figure—presumably Krynda—would be killed on Coruscant during the First Jedi Purge by a red-suited Sith Lord. However, the accuracy of the vision is in doubt.
After Padawan Zayne Carrick escaped the Masters' grasp and the Taris security force entered the chase, tagging Zayne as a wanted criminal, Lucien Draay, who was Zayne's Master, told Krynda that the intervention of "civil authorities" was "expected." When Lucien and the other members of the Covenant went to visit her on Coruscant, 'Haazen' denied them entrance and later would not tell Lucien where Krynda was.

Draay, Lucien

'Lucien Draay' was a member of a . Very potent in the Force, he was the apparent leader of the Jedi Masters on Taris, and he maintained contact with a on Coruscant. He was the only one of the five Masters on Taris not to be a . Based on Force sensings of Jedi Master Q'anilia, Draay had reason to believe that dark changes were brewing in the Force. Therefore, in consultation with his Coruscant associate and fellow Jedi Masters Q'anilia, Raana Tey, Xamar, and Feln, Master Draay planned and carried out the Padawan Massacres of Taris. Draay's own Padawan, Zayne Carrick, escaped the because he was running late.
Draay was shocked that Zayne, of all the Padawans on Taris, was the one to escape harm. Apparently, the Masters had reason to believe that one of the Tarisian Padawans was to fall to the dark side. However, he was confident in his ability to track down and capture Zayne, having framed him for the murders of the other Padawans. Indeed, Draay was consumed by this search, placing it above even his loyalty to the Galactic Republic.
Draay was particularly close to Q'anilia and trusted her insight that Zayne and his ally Marn "Gryph" Hierogryph were headed for the Undercity. However, Q'anilia proved to be mistaken and Draay and his fellow Masters had to battle s and did not discover Carrick. Informed by Master Xamar that sightings of Zayne and Gryph had been made in the Lower City, Draay helped led a force to arrest the duo at . Unfortunately for Draay, Zayne and Gryph escaped on the ''. Master Lucien refused Constable Sowrs' offer of help to continue the pursuit after Zayne and Gryph left the surface of Taris, telling Sowrs it was "a Jedi problem."

Ell, Zez-Kai

'Zez-Kai Ell' was a Jedi Master and Council member during the Mandalorian War and the Jedi Civil War. He was one of the several Council members who banished the Jedi Exile after the Exile returned from the Mandalorian Wars. After the Jedi Civil War had ended, Zez-Kai Ell was one of the few Jedi who did not go to the doomed Miraluka world of Katarr to the last Jedi Council, and subsequently escaped death.
When the Jedi Council disbanded, Zez-Kai-Ell went to Nar Shaddaa, the Smuggler's Moon orbiting the planet of Nal Hutta. He hid in the densely populated moon for a time. Then, five years after the end of the Jedi Civil War, the Exile arrived.
Zez-Kai Ell was one of the more thoughtful and introspectful masters seen during the period in which the games are set; he personally blames the Jedi Council for the constant wars which have torn apart the Republic and no longer considers himself a Jedi, claiming to have left the order in disgust, both at the Jedi and himself. Indeed, when you meet him he appears to have fallen into a deep depression, displaying abject melancholia and near-suicidal feelings at times. Despite this he is still loyal to his old friends and continues to trust in Master Kavar’s wisdom to the end, regardless of the outcome. He carried a purple double bladed lightsaber.
In the light side ending, after a chaotic meeting with various crime bosses, the Exile meets with Zez-Kai Ell due in part to Mira, a bounty hunter. The Exile questions Zez-Kai Ell and petitions him to go to Dantooine and wait there. Zez-Kai Ell is a very understanding Jedi who blames the Council's arrogance for the many Jedi who have turned to the Dark side. He always said the Council was too quick to cast blame on others and failed to seek understanding. He admires the way the Exile has truly lived the life of Jedi and helped the refugees of Nar Shaddaa while he hid in his own self-imposed exile.
After bringing the council back together, the Exile meets them at the Dantooine Enclave. The Masters judge the Exile again and attempt to cut him/her off from the Force in order to save the Jedi from the ravages of Darth Nihilus. But the shadowy Kreia (or more correctly, Darth Traya), enters the Enclave and uses an ancient Sith technique to kill Zez-Kai Ell and his fellow Jedi Masters. If the Exile inspects their bodies afterwards, it becomes clear that she has stripped the Jedi Masters of the Force. Depending on the class you chose, he teaches either lightsaber V(Shein), IV(Ataru), or a technique to increase your force powers.
In the Dark Side version, after a chaotic meeting with various crime bosses, the Exile meets with Zez-Kai Ell due in part to the tracking skills of a Wookiee named Hanharr. However, the Jedi Exile, touched by the dark side, enacts his/her revenge on Zez-Kai Ell for his/her banishment. The Jedi Master is unable to prevent his own demise as the Exile strikes him down. During the fight, the Exile learns Zez-Kai Ell's lightsaber or force form, enhancing his/her abilities. After the fight is over, the slain Master's soul is absorbed to feed the Exile's force power.

Farfalla, Valenthyne

'Valenthyne Farfalla' was a noted Jedi Master and Jedi Lord during the New Sith Wars. A male , Farfalla had a reputation for being foppish and vain. He aided Lord Hoth and the Army of Light in the Ruusan campaign, in the final years of the New Sith Wars. In the last year of the battle, Farfalla left Ruusan to gather three hundred Jedi Knights to aid in the struggle for the world.
Farfalla was often at odds with Hoth, and when the latter's good friend was killed by the Sith, he blamed Farfalla and the two men had a falling out. However, they eventually repaired their relationship and rallied the Jedi for a final assault on the Sith stronghold. When Hoth and many other Jedi were killed by Lord Kaan's thought bomb, Farfalla was left as the highest-ranking Jedi to survive Ruusan.
Farfalla's father was a noble lord who was convinced to ally with the Old Republic by Pernicar.[4] Farfalla followed in his footsteps, becoming a Jedi and serving with Kopecz.[5] He eventually became a Jedi Lord in the Army of Light. Because of his well-manicured appearance and his wooden-hulled battleship, Lord Farfalla could often be underestimated as a military threat, particularly by Lord Hoth, with whom, due to their widely differing personalities, he was often at odds. But despite his reputation amongst some, it was Farfalla who warned General Kiel Charny of Githany's impending defection to the dark side, saving the Jedi Knight from death.4
Farfalla was one of the champions of the Republic in the later stages of the war, and was one of the first Jedi to join Hoth's campaign against the Brotherhood of Darkness on Ruusan. He fought in every battle on the world, and his skill did not go unnoticed among the Sith. As the campaign ground to a stalemate, Hoth realized he needed the aid of the Jedi who had not chosen to join him. Farfalla believed that Hoth's blunt personality had driven them away, and expected that he could persuade them with more diplomacy and tact. In 1,000 BBY he volunteered to leave Ruusan to request help from Jedi throughout the galaxy and return with 300 Knights.5
Farfalla would be gone for several months, in which time he led 300 Jedi against King Lahzar, then took his forces on to Ruusan.4 The Sith had established a blockade around the planet, which prevented Farfalla from landing on the planet's surface. In a stroke of fortune for the Jedi, Darth Bane went behind the back of Lord Kaan and ordered the Sith fleet to engage Farfalla's ships, giving Farfalla his opening to break through to Ruusan.5 There, he once again saved Charny's life, riding his into battle to defeat the attacking Sith.[6]
His arrival was not welcomed by Lord Hoth, however, who called Farfalla a "mincing coward". That Farfalla had arrived just too late to save Hoth's good friend Pernicar only added to the resentment between the two men, and in a fit of anger, Farfalla returned to his ship, vowing not to help Hoth for what he saw as a grave insult, and also fearing that Hoth's personal conflict with Kaan and the death of Pernicar had pushed the general to the dark side of the Force. However, when an image of Pernicar came to Hoth in a dream suggesting he mend his relationship with Farfalla, the Jedi sent a message via apologizing for his behavior. The two came to a truce and joined forces to launch a final assault against Kaan, who had fled to the safety of the hills and caves. Though both Jedi suspected a trap, they elected to pursue.5
Farfalla led the advance group of Jedi at the to engage the Sith forces, while Hoth traveled closely behind, intending to continue on to the caves to apprehend Kaan. The battle was over quickly, with most Sith surrendering to the Army of Light. During the battle, Farfalla captured the Dark Lord Kopecz, who told him that Kaan was planning to detonate a thought bomb, a devastating burst of Force energy that would eradicate any army caught within its blast range. Farfalla fulfilled Kopecz's wish to die by granting him a lightsaber duel, then rushed to inform Hoth.4 Hoth already knew, as he had felt it in the Force, but decided he had to stop Kaan and took ninety-nine volunteers with him.
Hoth ordered Farfalla and his forces to flee the area, and if possible, leave Ruusan, hoping to give them a chance to escape certain death. Farfalla was well out of range when Kaan detonated the thought bomb, and so survived the Ruusan campaign, rallying the surviving Jedi to defeat the Sith stragglers and finally ending the thousand-year New Sith Wars.
An asteroid belt in the was named in his honor.[7]

Fay

'Fay' was a long-lived, near-Human Jedi Master with pointed ears.
Described by Qui-Gon Jinn as "beautiful and ageless," it was said that no one hated Master Fay. In all the centuries she had lived, she had never been seen using a lightsaber, and some believed she never even carried one.
After attaining the rank of Master, Fay refused to take a Padawan, choosing instead to roam the Galaxy wherever the Force guided her.
During the Clone Wars, she, along with , Jon Antilles, — who were also wandering Jedi — and Obi-Wan Kenobi, was part of the team dispatched to recover the antidote to the swamp gas used by the Confederacy on Ohma-D'un. The group was ambushed by Durge and Asajj Ventress, and three of the Jedi fell in quick succession. Fay and Kenobi survived long enough to confront Ventress, who was in control of the antidote and trying to escape with it to Separatist-friendly space.
Using the Force, Master Fay hurled shards of glass and metal at Ventress, catching the Dark Jedi with several large pieces of debris, and then fought her in psychic combat, draining her of thoughts, rendering her unconscious. Believing Ventress to be out, and with Durge hot on their heels, Kenobi and Fay set off to return to Coruscant.
Ventress recovered quickly, however, and rose up to spear Master Fay in the back with her lightsabers. Mortally wounded, Fay survived long enough to ensure Kenobi escaped from Queyta by lending him the last of her power, then died in his arms.

Feln

'Feln' was a Feeorin Sage Master stationed on Taris around 3,964 BBY. He was one of the five Jedi Masters that was implicated in the murder of his own Padawan, Oojoh, and three others. He wielded a green lightsaber, and was a member of the Jedi Covenant.
Feln had joined the group of Consulars being trained by Krynda Draay by 3,988 BBY.
Feln was known to pilot ships and was the leader of the search for Zovius Mendu, who was smuggled off Taris by Marn "Gryph" Hierogryph in a crate of dried dreeka fish.
He joined fellow Masters 'Q'Anilia, Lucien Draay, Xamar', and 'Raana Tey' in their pursuit of Zayne Carrick and Marn Hierogryph, whom they had framed for the Padawans' murders. He battled rakghouls in the Undercity in hopes of discovering the duo and was later present at the attempted arrest of Zayne and Gryph at Junk Junction, following which the two escaped offworld.

Fin-So-Rowan

'Fin-So-Rowan' was one of the two Jedi Masters who proposed the creation of a praxeum ship around 500 BBY. A Cerean male, he named the ship ''Chu'unthor'', a Cerean word meaning "academy."

Garnoo

'Garnoo' was an ancient male Neti Jedi Master who took as a Padawan. When Garnoo died in 4,002 BBY, Oss went on to train with Master Thon.

Gra'aton

'Gra'aton' is an ancient Jedi Master who worked with and on Dathomir to try and save the Chu'unthor.

Haazen

'Haazen' was a Jedi Master who lived in the pre-Ruusan Old Republic era. He was a close associate of 'Krynda Draay' and a member of her .
According to 'Lucien Draay', Haazen was a "failed Padawan." By Haazen's own account, he had fought in the Great Sith War. It was during this time that both of his legs, along with his right arm and eye had been lost and replaced with prosthetics. Due to his mutilated appearance Haazen took to wearing an all-concealing cloak.
While Krynda was training a group of Jedi seers that would form the majority of the Covenant, Haazen began training her son, Lucien — who was not particularly fond of it. When four seers of the Covenant — 'Feln', 'Q'Anilia', 'Raana Tey' and 'Xamar' — were relocated to the , Haazen recommended to Krynda that Lucien be the one to watch over them.
After the Padawan Massacre of Taris, Haazen blamed his former apprentice for nearly exposing the Covenant and reducing its effectiveness, as well as for not bringing the Padawans to him and Krynda to be examined. He then ordered Lucien to bring his escaped Padawan Zayne Carrick to him alive. Lucien refused, saying that while Zayne was still alive he posed too great of risk. The decrepit Jedi grew angry and further emphasized that he and Krynda alone — having both lived through the — knew best how to deal with such a threat, and then repeated his orders to Lucien.
As the Mandalorian Wars erupted in the galaxy and Zayne Carrick was captured by Admiral Saul Karath, Haazen put aside the Covenants mission of capturing Zayne and stopping the Mandalorians in pursuit of a more dire situation. Acting on Jedi seers visions of an evil, mindless and faceless being rising and destroying everything in it's path. Among these visions were a meeting of enemies, one of which was identified as being leader, .
Haazen sent a holographic transmission to for Lucien relating the details. Haazen also related that Adasca was attempting to make contact with the leader of the s. Haazen ordered Lucien to investigate the situation and discover the source of the dark power.

★ Fans were quick to point out the similarity between Haazen and Darth Sion. Though Haazen's right arm and both legs are artificial, while Sion had broken, but seemingly natural limbs. However, Sion's legs and right arm are only ever seen covered, possibly concealing mechanical parts. Sion also has his natural right shoulder, while Haazen does not.

★ Another possible piece of evidence that Haazen may be Darth Sion is his close connection with Krynda Draay, who has been speculated to in fact be Kreia. But this connection is uncertain and purely conjecture at this point.

Han Saresh, Guun

'Guun Han Saresh' was a Twi'lek Jedi Knight in the Old Republic, one of three specially-appointed Jedi who were sent out to continue the Great Hunt after the defeat of Exar Kun. He and Duron Qel-Droma and Shaela Nur were sent to Korriban to hunt down and destroy terentatek beasts. It was believed that these three Jedi, who were strong in the Force, would be able to support each other against the lure of the Dark side. Unfortunately, the three were estranged during their journey when Duron and Shaela fell in love. Guun Han let his self-righteousness and pride blind him as he condemned their affair, convinced that the two 'fools', governed by passion, would fall to the Dark side. He manipulated Sith apprentices into giving him information about the terentatek and left Korriban without his companions, journeying to Kashyyyk to kill a great beast that lived there. He used bait to lure it out of hiding in the Shadowlands and battled against it. Alone, however, he was no match for the monster, which ultimately killed him.

Handa

'Handa' was a Cathar Jedi Master during the last decades of theNew Sith Wars.
He trained at least two Padawans, 'Kiel Charny' and Githany. He was angered by their affair, and his rebukes were part of the reason that Githany turned to the dark side.

Hortath

'Hortath' (or possibly 'Hartoth') was a kind Jedi Master prior to the Great Sith War. As an elderly man, he became near-sighted, but refused to admit it due to pride. As a result, he often bumped into things, ran into walls, or mistook Padawans for dangerous animals.
A common but unconfirmed story went that a Padawan once asked Master Hortath for directions to the Enclave council on Dantooine, but the Master misdirected them; when the Padawan confronted Hortath with the error, the Master refused to believe it, and again misdirected the Padawan. As a result, the Padawan not only walked away from the council, but ended up walking away from the Jedi Order as a whole.
Years later, Jolee Bindo retold the story of Master Hortath to Revan, in answer to the question of why Bindo himself had left the Order.

Hoth

'Lord Hoth' was a famous Jedi Master and Jedi Lord who led the Army of Light against Lord Kaan's Brotherhood of Darkness during the , until their final confrontation in the . He was the most prominent Jedi Master of his time, and possibly of the Jedi Order.
Hoth's temper was as legendary as his battle prowess, and a feud between Hoth and Valenthyne Farfalla almost delivered victory to Kaan. Despite their animosity, the pair reconciled, allowing Hoth to face his foe in a final confrontation. Knowing that the desperate Sith would utilize the thought bomb in an attempt to stave off defeat, Hoth went to face him anyway, forcing the Brotherhood of Darkness to destroy themselves in the process. Hoth's act of self-sacrifice saved the Galactic Republic and ended the Sith as a galactic threat for almost a thousand years.
In his youth, Hoth believed he had the power to end the Sith threat single-handedly and make the galaxy a better place.[4] To fulfill this dream he joined the Jedi Order, and in time became a teacher at the Jedi Temple, where he taught many Jedi, including 'Dree Vandap'[9], 'Tal'[10], and Johun Othone, his Padawan.[11] Serving as a General for the Galactic Republic, Hoth had won over half a dozen victories, become a HoloNet star, and by 1,003 BBY had been made commander of the Republic Military.[5]
As the Republic Dark Age was ushered in by a rapid series of Sith victories and conquests, the Jedi and the Republic suddenly saw the need to fight back. Hoth was sent with a detachment to capture the current Sith leader, and that skirmish soon escalated until once more, the Republic was engaged in an all-out war. They quickly marshaled their forces, amongst them the Army of Light led by Hoth.11 Strapped for resources and soldiers, Hoth was forced to build his Army from whatever was available, including the conversion of freighters into warships and the recruitment of any Force-sensitive Republic citizen, including children, to augment the ranks of the rapidly dying Jedi.410 In response, the new leader of the Sith, Kaan, raised his own army, the Brotherhood of Darkness, which would soon become Hoth's greatest enemy.11
Though made in desperation and ill-equipped, the Army of Light under Hoth saw resounding success, albeit at a heavy cost. Along with other Republic champions like Kiel Charny and Valenthyne Farfalla, Hoth drove the Brotherhood from the and countless other worlds, including the planet sharing his name, Dromund Kaas, and .[13] This initial period of victory, however, eventually gave out. The Army of Light was outnumbered by the Brotherhood, and the Sith mounted their own offensive, taking key Republic planets and driving into the Core Worlds.5
Hoth's response was to unify the Republic's dispersed forces, augmenting the Army of Light. As they were still outnumbered, he shifted his strategy away from fighting massive armies and navies towards targeting the Sith themselves, particularly their leaders, the Dark Lords. To this end he focused many of his Jedi on an assault on the Sith-held world of Ruusan, hoping to draw Kaan's armies away from the Core. Kaan chose to take his Sith instead, intending to eradicate the Jedi in one blow.5
The first three battles had been fought in space, and had been quick and decisive. But the increased importance of Ruusan to both sides turned the conflict into a bloody stalemate of a ground war that ravaged the surface of the world. Hoth would spend the last two years of his life fighting for the planet.5
As the strength of both sides dwindled, Hoth looked for ways to augment his diminishing Jedi forces. Not all Jedi had answered the call to come to Ruusan, believing Hoth had made the war into a personal vendetta and was only prolonging it, or simply choosing to support the Republic on other worlds, and now he sought their aid. Valenthyne Farfalla, whom Hoth had always disliked, volunteered to seek out those Jedi and ask for their help, believing that their refusal was in part due to Hoth's bluntness, and that they would respond to his form of diplomacy and persuasion better. He vowed to return with s, and left Ruusan. To preserve what strength he had until Farfalla returned, Hoth changed tactics from open combat to guerrilla warfare, using the planet's rainy season and its vast expanses of forest as cover.5
Hoth had fought the Sith doggedly, but the death of his close friend Pernicar in a Sith attack shook his resolute manner for a time. The arrival of Farfalla shortly after the attack, and too late to save his friend, drove a further wedge between the two Jedi. Sith tactics, too, had grown more ruthless with the arrival of Darth Bane. The Dark Lords sent a decoy force to attack the Army of Light, then, using the dark side of the Force, summoned a massive wave of destruction that burnt the forests of Ruusan, slaughtering many. Only the timely arrival of 'Farfalla's Knights' breaking through the Sith blockade saved them.4
Beaten down by the never-ending stalemate, the miserable conditions, dwindling troop morale, and the deaths of so many, Hoth began to seriously consider abandoning Ruusan to the Sith, though he knew that this would be a betrayal of all he stood for. The Jedi Master found himself in an impossible choice. During this crisis of faith, Pernicar appeared to him in a dream. Hoth asked for the advice of his old friend, as Pernicar had often given him while alive, and Pernicar told him to trust in the Force, to not give in to despair, and to mend the situation with Farfalla. After awaking, Hoth sent an apology to Farfalla through , and the two combined their forces to drive back the Sith. The Jedi at last had the advantage, and with Kaan fleeing into the hills and caves and the Army of Light's morale on the rise, Hoth decided to press forward and launch an assault on Kaan's base camp.5
Though he was prepared to do battle, Hoth wanted Kaan to surrender to spare them all from further bloodshed. Preparation for the final battle was not entirely hopeful. Hoth and Farfalla suspected a trap on the part of the Sith, and the Jedi Tal had a premonition of disaster. Still, the general saw no other choice, and opted to press forward.10
Hoth and Farfalla began their attack in the morning. Farfalla led the way, while Hoth brought up the rear. With the Dark Lords summoned by Kaan to the caves to prepare a thought bomb, a devastating burst of Force energy that would eradicate life within its range, the battle was over by the time Hoth's forces arrived, with most of the Sith taken prisoner alive and almost no casualties to the Army of Light. Hoth made his way towards Kaan's encampment, but was stopped by Farfalla, who warned him of the thought bomb. Hoth, however, had already sensed it, and knew that he had to stop Kaan from using it to cause even more destruction by either forcing him to detonate it on Ruusan or convincing him to surrender. He and the Army entered the canyon where the mouth of the caves lay, past poles carrying the bodies and severed heads of the Jedi who had died in the previous battles. Leaving Farfalla and the bulk of the army outside the caverns and ordering them to get as far from the blast site as possible, he took one hundred Jedi, all volunteers, with him.45
Together they headed down the tunnels to Kaan's chamber, where he and the Dark Lords waited, the power of the thought bomb filling the air around them. Kaan greeted Hoth, and Hoth responded that the Sith Lord could not frighten him with the prospect of death. Seeing the madness that had come upon the man, Hoth then knew that Kaan would not surrender, and made a lunge at him, attempting to kill him before he could set off the thought bomb. He was too late, however, and with a clap of his hands, Kaan released the power of the dark side of the Force. Lord Hoth, and all the Jedi with him, were killed.45 Their spirits remained trapped within the caverns by the power of the thought bomb, and would not be freed until Kyle Katarn came to Ruusan over 1,000 years later.10
After Hoth's death, his former Padawan Johun Othone petitioned the Jedi and Republic to construct a memorial to the Army of Light on Ruusan. The Jedi turned down his request, wanting to let the tragedy be forgotten, but the Senate chose to honor it. Othone had a mausoleum constructed in what had become known as the Valley of the Jedi.11 Towering above the statues of the many other members of the Army a statue of Hoth was carved. When Kyle Katarn visited this site one year after the Battle of Endor, he received a vision from the spirit of Tal, in which he saw Lord Hoth from Tal's perspective on the day of the last battle.

Hulis, Noab

'Noab Hulis' was a Jedi Master prior to the Exar Kun War.
An ancient female Miraluka from Alpheridies, she sought out the self-exiled Jedi Knight Chamma on H'ratth. She went over with him the events that led up to his self-imposed exile and convinced him to resume active Jedi service.

Ibes, Binn

'Binn Ibes' was a Jedi Master. An alien male, he trained the Padawan Reeft to become a Jedi Knight.

Ikrit

The one-meter-tall, white-furred, floppy-eared creature known as 'Ikrit' was originally believed to have been the pet of Anakin Solo, discovered in the jungles of Yavin IV. It was only later, after solving the puzzle of the Golden Globe with the help of Anakin and his friend Tahiri Veila, that Ikrit showed what he really was: an ancient Jedi Master. Ikrit is of the species Kushiban.
Four hundred years before Anakin came to the Academy, Ikrit came to the moon of Yavin IV and discovered the Golden Globe. Unable to break the curse, he waited until someone came along who could, which happened to be Anakin and Tahiri. Ikrit was trained by Master Yoda himself. Ikrit kept his true identity secret from but a few people, with the exception of Tionne, , Anakin and Tahiri. He shared his knowledge with them and whenever possible, such as during their many adventures, helped train Anakin, Tahiri, and Uldir. He was, for a time, the only Jedi of the new order who did not carry a lightsaber.
When the Peace Brigade and the Yuuzhan Vong attacked Yavin IV, Ikrit helped Tionne and Kam Solusar hide the trainee children from them. Ikrit went back to help Anakin defend the Great Temple from the attackers. He discovered that Tahiri, , and Valin Horn had stayed behind to help them. After stealing a Brigade shuttle and kidnapping the pilot, the group tried to make its escape. However, in the attempt a group of Brigade ships tried to stop them. Ikrit jumped out of the ship to drive them back and draw their fire. His gambit was successful, but cost him his life.

Inspra, Jabidus

'Jabidus Inspra' was a Jedi Master during the Clone Wars. He accompanied Ashka Boda into the Gree Enclave, leading a team of five Jedi from the Jedi Temple to attempt to ascertain the purpose of Count Dooku's recent visit to the Enclave.

Jeth, Arca

'Arca Jeth' was a famous Jedi Master from ancient times. He was an Arkanian male who was a Jedi Master and Watchman of the Onderon system. He was known to have been one of the wisest Jedi of the Old Republic era. Master Arca was also an expert swordsman, teaching many Jedi Apprentices at his training compound on Arkania some four millennia BBY. Sometimes he would take on as many as twenty students at a time. His apprentices included Ulic Qel-Droma and Cay Qel-Droma, and the Twi'lek Tott Doneeta. Jeth was assigned to be watchman of the Onderon System, and he sent his young apprentices to the planet Onderon, making Ulic his "chargeman". He was also one of the first known Jedi to use the ability of battle meditation. Arca Jeth was killed fighting renegade droids directed by the evil Krath Dark side adepts, Setal Keto and Aleema Keto, on the planet Deneba.
In 4,050 BBY Master Jeth was part of a Jedi/Republic task force which was sent to the Hapes Cluster to eliminate the threat of the Lorell Raiders, who had been preying on Republic shipping lanes for decades. Following the defeat of the Lorell Raiders, Jeth took part in the The Hyabb-Twith Campaign and helped drive the Nelori Marauders from the Hyabb-Twith Corridor. He served the Old Republic on Coruscant during the Great Droid Revolution of 4,015 BBY in which he demonstrated the Force technique that allowed the Jedi to deactivate the attacking droids using the Force. He would later mediate the Beast Wars on Onderon, and help drive the dark side spirit of Freedon Nadd from the planet. After helping Onderon to obtain peace, Arca was slain at the Conclave of Deneba by a Krath War Droid.
In the arms of his most gifted student, Ulic Qel-Droma, Arca Jeth became one with the Force.

Juhani

'Juhani' is a Jedi character from . Juhani is a member of the cat-like race, the Cathar, known for their fiery emotions. She feels as though she can't control her emotions, though the player can give her an emotional boost by telling her that she can.
Juhani's character was originally planned to be called Bastila Shan, and this name is seen on early concept art. However, when the developers decided not to use Vima Sunrider as one of the main characters, the name Bastila Shan was used for the new female human character created to replace Sunrider. The Cathar Jedi was then called Juhani, and this name made it into the final game.
Juhani is portrayed as having a Russian accent, with a cat-like purr to it to emphasise her belonging to the Cathar race. The name "Juhani" itself is a Finnish male first name.
Revan rescues Juhani from the Dark Side. This completes Revan's training and brings him closer to the light side of the Force. During the course of the game Revan discovers that Juhani was raised on the planet Taris, where her family encountered discrimination from the human population. Her father was killed by Xor, a soldier who harboured a hatred of the Cathar race after he was injured during the Mandalorian invasion of the Cathar homeworld. Juhani's mother fell ill and died, leaving Juhani liable for her mother's debts to the exchange. She was about the be sold into slavery (to Xor) when Revan, at the head of a Jedi army, stopped the slave auction. The intervention of Revan inspired Juhani to train to become a Jedi. During her later travels with the amnesiac Revan she encounters Xor. Xor tried to get Revan to sell her to him, but Revan refused. Xor later found them with a number of thugs and tried to take Juhani by force. When Juhani wounded him, Xor told her to kill him. But Revan stopped her from giving in to her hatred, thus helping her to remain on the light side path. Juhani later saved Revan from falling to the dark side atop a Rakatan Temple on Lehon by helping Jolee Bindo persuade Revan to stay with the light after meeting a fallen Bastila Shan. Juhani was later honored as one of the Republic's saviors when the Star Forge was destroyed.
Alternate female Revan story

Juhani is "romanceable" by only female characters, though it takes a certain level of devotion to bring this about, and her romance scenario, rather than a subplot, occurs over a single conversation. Revan and Juhani pledge their love for one another and then agree that the battlefield is not appropriate for such conversations and agree to talk about where they stand later (presumably after the game ends).
Rumors persist that Bioware intended to include a full romantic subplot referring to Juhani as lesbian or bisexual. Indeed, her backstory includes a male "best friend" character who cannot understand why she is not attracted to him, and her ambivalence regarding her Jedi discipline might easily be read as subtext for closeting. However, LucasArts nixed the idea out of the belief that explicit homosexuality was not appropriate in the Star Wars universe, and the above-mentioned conversation was the only surviving aspect. Also a female jedi in the Jedi Temple seem to be very close to Juhani and if the player decides to kill Juhani on Dantooine the Jedi becomes evil and the player runs into her again on the Sith Academy platform on Korriban.

Kae, Arren

'Arren Kae' was a female Jedi Master before and a General during the Mandalorian Wars. She was one of the many masters to train Revan, and she later followed him to war against the Mandalorians.
There is some debate on the exact position that Arren Kae took within the Jedi Order. Some sources paint her as a Jedi Knight, others have her as a Jedi Master. According to Mical and Kreia, Arren Kae was a Jedi Master—one of many that Revan held during his time within the Order—and she was exiled when it was discovered that she had a child (one of the Order's rules which states Jedi should not have worldly attachments).
The father was senator Yusanis of Echani. When Revan came to her about fighting along side him against the Mandalorians, Arren agreed and Yusanis—who before giving himself to politics was a famed and powerful warrior—followed her to war, served as a general and became one of the greatest heroes of the conflict. Their child would later be known as Brianna, the Last of the Handmaidens—those Echani that catered to the Jedi Master Atris.
There is nothing to state what exactly happened to Arren, it was assumed that she died during the Mandalorian Wars at Malachor V even though no body was ever recovered, while Yusanis was slain by Revan in the Jedi Civil War when Revan sought to destabilize the Echani worlds.

Kagoro

'Kagoro' was a Jedi Master known for expounding upon the Jedi Code's insistence of Jedi not having personal belongings. He was famous for saying:

Kal-Don

'Kal-Don' was a famous Jedi Master stationed at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. During his tenure as Jedi Master, Kal-Don accepted the infamous Cerean, Ter-Idi as his Padawan. Running through Ter-Idi was an apathetic streak towards the lure of the dark side, something that concerned Kal-Don and the other Jedi Masters. Their worst fears were realized when Ter-Idi suffered an incapacitating injury at the hands of an assassin attempting to murder Master Kal-Don.
Through his recovery, Ter-Idi realized that the injury would leave him less agile than before. As frustration set in, the lure of the dark side offered to replenish his speed and strength to levels greater than before the trauma. Unfortunately, Ter-Idi's apparent indifference to the dark side made his fall that much easier. Ter-Idi left Master Kal-Don and the Jedi Order never to be seen again by Master Kal-Don or any other Jedi.

Karkko, Volfe

'Volfe Karkko' was an Anzati Jedi, presumably of the rank of Master, who lived centuries prior to the Invasion of Naboo.
Karkko was trained as a Jedi at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Some among the Jedi Order believed Anzati were too dangerous to be trained to use the Force, and there were fears that Karkko would not be able to resist his species' instinctive need to taste the "soup" of other sentients. He endeavored to dispel these worries, and became a powerful Jedi Master who was granted access to the Sith holocrons stored within the Jedi Archives. He was fond of reminding other Jedi that his species remembered the first Sith Lords, though even with his prolonged study of the holocrons, there appeared to be no actual evidence to back up this claim.
As Karkko's power grew, so did his arrogance. Karkko believed that as a Jedi, he was above addictions, and saw no harm in tasting "soup" just once. This flawed assumption was his first step towards the dark side, for he became addicted to the "soup" and even began harvesting it from his fellow Jedi. He used his command of the Force to trap and consume many victims, before he was confronted and defeated by six representatives of the Jedi High Council on Kiffex. The Council had decreed that Karkko had become a threat to the Order, but, as was the Jedi way, the Councilors did not kill their prisoner. Instead, they trapped him within a stasis field; a device that only a Jedi could be capable of opening. In suspended animation, Karkko's mind was left conscious to contemplate the atrocities he had committed, and his lightsaber was left with him to serve as a warning of the consequences of arrogance.
As time passed, many Anzati were drawn to the prison of Karkko, who had become something of a local legend, and was known as "The Dreaming One". It was believed that Karkko, still conscious in his prison, used the Force to leech away the vitality of the Anzati, strengthening himself and turning them feral.
Karkko was granted a chance to escape his prison centuries after his incarceration when the enraged Aayla Secura crash-landed on Kiffex during her search for Quinlan Vos in 30 BBY. Karkko drew on Secura's anger and influenced her to enter his prison and release him from stasis. His control over the young Twi'lek was absolute, and she became his dark accomplice. With Secura successfully turned to his side, Karkko then waited with his army of degenerate Anzati, knowing that Jedi and their 'soup' would come to Kiffex when they discovered he was free.
The amnesiac Jedi Quinlan Vos, and Jedi Masters Tholme, T'ra Saa and Zao tracked Karkko and Secura to Kiffex. As the three Masters battled the Anzati defenses outside, Vos alone entered Karkko's fortress. As Vos arrived in Karkko's inner sanctum, he was attacked by Secura, his own Padawan, much to the delight of the Anzati Dark Jedi. Vos was forced to do battle with Secura, and calls to Secura to come back to the light were brushed aside. Left with no other choice, Vos switched off his lightsaber and refused to battle Secura further. Just as Secura seemed to be convinced of Vos's sincerity, she was struck by a blast of Force lightning from Karkko.
Enraged, Karkko engaged Vos in a lightsaber duel, which the Dark Jedi believed he could easily win. However, Vos proved more resourceful than Karkko had allowed, and, with mental assistance from the Jedi Masters, Quinlan defeated Karkko, slicing through his abdomen and cutting him in two.

Kavar

'Kavar' was a Jedi Master and member of the Jedi High Council during the Mandalorian Wars and Jedi Civil War. He was also close friends with the Jedi Exile—whom he trained from time to time—when he/she was a Padawan.
Early in his life, Kavar fought in the Great Sith War. At the onset of the Mandalorian Wars, the Mandalorians believed that Kavar, the "famed Jedi Guardian", would be placed in command of the Republic's overall war effort once the Jedi entered the war.
However, the Council chose to remain neutral throughout the conflict, and it was Jedi Knights Revan and Malak who led a force of rebellious Jedi in their place. Many among the Mandalorian survivors often wondered how differently the war would have gone had Master Kavar, not Revan, been leading the Jedi during those fateful years.
Little information is known about Kavar during the Jedi Civil War except that he fought alongside the Jedi ranks against the forces of Darth Malak. He was presumed dead at some point during these events, but that was far from the truth.
After the Jedi Civil War, Kavar went to Onderon and became the advisor of Queen Talia Kira. He would stay in the shadows of the Royal Palace, but when he did speak, he was described as being "cryptic as hell." As tensions rose between Queen Talia and her cousin, General Vaklu, Kavar urged Talia to wait until the true threat, Vaklu's unseen supporters, showed itself.
When the ''Ebon Hawk'' attempted to land in Iziz, Vaklu's forces under Colonel Tobin's command fired upon it, sparking a dogfight between Onderonian forces and the Republic and creating more tension in the city. Through the alliance of the Mandalorians on Dxun, the captain of the ''Ebon Hawk'', known as the Exile, made arrangements through a doctor named Dhagon Ghent to meet Kavar. Kavar met with the Exile in the Iziz Cantina. Just as the Exile was to learn the full circumstances behind her trial, Tobin's forces showed up and opened fire in the cantina. Kavar stunned Tobin's men and escaped to the palace, while the Exile was forced to fight her way through several troops back to her ship. As he ran, Kavar told the Exile that he would get word to her when he was able.
Not too long after these events, the Council of Lords, under the influence of General Vaklu, decreed that Talia was guilty of treason. With the Onderonian military divided between support for Talia and Vaklu, the Onderon Civil War began. Kavar, while calling upon the Mandalorians for aid, sent a transmission to the Exile, and she rushed back to Onderon. While the Exile made her way to the palace, Kavar and a group of troops fought at the palace gates against Vaklu's supporters, the Sith and their beasts. Kavar was forced to retreat inside the palace, where he coordinated the battle. The Exile eventually reached Kavar, and he directed her to Captain Kadron.
When the Exile made it to the throne room, Kavar rushed in and eliminated some of Vaklu's troops. He stayed back, however, when Talia and the Exile fought Vaklu themselves. He would also remain quiet when Talia decreed that Vaklu was to be executed. However, at the Exile's request, Talia gave Vaklu a fair trial. The short but devastating civil war was ended, with Onderon's rightful ruler still on the throne.
Kavar answered the Exile's questions, but was shocked to learn that Atris survived the attack on Katarr, not knowing that she had never attended the fateful conclave. He agreed to join the Council on Dantooine after the Exile had gathered all of the remaining Jedi Masters.
Once the Exile had done so, he met with fellow Masters Vrook Lamar and Zez-Kai Ell at the rebuilt Jedi Enclave, and encountered the Exile for what would be the last time. All three of them found it necessary to rid the Exile of the Force. However, as they were about to cut the Exile's ties to the Force, Kreia, whom Kavar and the other masters had previously believed to be dead, entered. After scolding the Jedi for their arrogance, she decided to make them ''see'' the Force through the eyes of the Exile. As such, she drained them of the Force as the Exile had done to herself at the Battle of Malachor V. Kreia did this to prove that her teachings and beliefs were right, and that life could persist without the Force. In a way, it was her test for them. But since neither Kavar nor his associates could stand to live without the Force, they perished. The famed Jedi Guardian and friend to the Jedi Exile was dead.

Kreia

Main articles: Kreia

An old female Jedi Master, Kreia trained Revan in the ways of the Force before his fall to the Dark Side. She later went on to train the Jedi Exile. Kreia then turns out to be the leader of the Sith on Malachor V. In the end the exile faces off with her deep in the core of the planet, and when she is beaten, she offers the Jedi Exile a vision of what will happen to his/her party members.

Krimsan, Asli

'Asli Krimsan' was a plump Human female Jedi Master with black hair who wore burgundy cloaks. She trained Jedi for over 200 years. She later created which Darth Vader kept at on Vjun following the Great Jedi Purge.
In , it was found by the , the Kushiban Master Ikrit, and Jedi trainees Anakin Solo, Tahiri Veila and .

Krow, Erg

'Erg Krow' was the eldest of the Jedi Masters on the planet Mustafar back when it wasn't a world of lava.
Krow was present when the Sith attacked the world. The Jedi used a crystal to enhance their powers and give them an advantage in the battle. Somehow, the crystal self-destructed, having drastic consequences for the world. The crystal's explosion caused Mustafar to go off its orbit and caused the planet to turn from luscious green to hot, molten lava. The only survivor of the cataclysm was Erg Krow who survived by shielding himself from the blast with the Force. Even though he was able to save his own life, he was left in terrible pain. He dragged what was left of the crystal to a cave and used his powers to make a shield around it, making sure that no one would claim the crystal ever again. After ensuring that the crystal would not be misused again, Krow succumbed to his wounds and died within the cave. Unfortunately, the Force shield Krow placed around the crystal disappeared over time after it had been active for many years.
Much later, during the rise of the Galactic Empire, Obi-Wan Kenobi and a following spacer discovered the cave and attempted to destroy the crystal only to be stopped by the Dark Jedi Vartonis. A great battle ensued between Vartonis and the spacer over the fate of the crystal. The battle ended when the spacer defeated Vartonis, and along with Obi-Wan, destroyed the crystal. This ended the great disturbance in the force and diminished the Force connection to the dark side on Mustafar.

Kut, Polvin

'Polvin Kut' was a Jedi Master who lived nearly three centuries before the Battle of Yavin.
Kut perished when he and his Padawan, future Jedi Master Yaddle, were ambushed in the Koba system when attempting to end the threat of local Advozse warlord 'Tulak'. While his padawan escaped, Maser Kut was beheaded by the Advozse warriors, who then proceeded to desecrate his body.

Lamar, Vrook

'Vrook Lamar' is one of the Jedi Masters of the Jedi Council on Dantooine. The Exile meets with the administrator of Khoonda as to where the location of Vrook may be. She tells him/her to go search in the ruins of the Jedi Enclave in the sublevels. He/she goes to the sublevels of the Enclave to meet Mical the Diciple. The Exile discovers a pile of mercenary bodies with lightsaber burns. The Exile goes to the Crystal Caves to combat more mercenaries. He/she eventually finds Vrook trapped in a force cage.
In the original ''Knights of the Old Republic'', Vrook is one of the members of the Jedi Council on Dantooine, a balding human of apparently advanced age. Outspoken and frequently openly distrusting of the main character, Vrook seldom expresses satisfaction with any of the main character's work and sometimes seems to get quite upset with his fellow members of the Council. However, the Council respects his voice, and the attitude he is treated with suggests that, even among the members of the Council, Vrook is a leader.
Vrook escaped the destruction of the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine and the attention of the Sith, and as of ''Knights of the Old Republic II'' was one of the last four Jedi Masters left in the galaxy. He remained on Dantooine and was a friend to the local officials there, but lost none of his pride and arrogance, going to the point of berating the Jedi Exile for rescuing him from a group of mercenaries. (Vrook claims he had allowed himself to be captured so that the mercenaries would halt their plans to attack the Khoonda settlement.)
The Exile then assists assist Vrook in defending Khoonda from Azkul and his mercenaries. After the battle, Vrook instructs The Exile in one of two ways of lightsaber combat depending on the earlier choice in the game of weapons master or jedi watchman. If watchman, then the Exile learns Juyo, if weapons master then the Exile learns Ataru. Vrook will be killed with the rest of the Jedi Masters by Kreia in the rebuilt Enclave on Dantooine.
In ''Knights of the Old Republic II'', Vrook Lamar is voiced by Ed Asner, to whom he bears a slight resemblance in some facial features. Other characters for whom physical similarities exist between themselves and their voice actors are Visas Marr and Bastila Shan.

Lestin, Zhar

'Zhar Lestin' was a male Twi'lek Jedi Master and member of the Dantooine Enclave Council during the Mandalorian Wars and the Jedi Civil War and a highly skilled Jedi duelist. He trained both Revan and Malak for a time, and considered Revan his most promising pupil — certain he would one day be a great champion of the Jedi Order.
Zhar once again became the teacher to Revan, after the former Dark Lord's destroyed mind had been reprogrammed by the Jedi Council and he was slowly returning to the Force. After the events on Taris and the destruction of the planet at Malak's hands, Bastila Shan made the suggestion to head to Dantooine, where she related the events to the academy's council. Vandar Tokare told the group that Revan—who now believed he was just a Force-sensitive Galactic Republic soldier—would be trained in the ways of the Force.
Once again Master Zhar praised Revan for his quick study — though this was "retraining" — and revealed to him that he had once been teacher to both Revan and Malak.
He was later killed by Darth Nihilus when he attended the Conclave on Katarr after the end of the Jedi Civil War.
Although the reason is not known, Kreia looked down on Zhar, referring to him as a "fool."

Lywin, Willm

'Willm Lywin' was a male Duinuogwuin Jedi Master. During the first four hundred years of his life, he was part of a group of "living snubfighters" which escorted a praxeum ship. He was one of the founders of the Teyan Praxeum, where he guarded the pathway to the Cave of Truth for 600 years. Vici Ramunee encountered him when she traveled to the Cave, and found him both friendly and funny.

Master of the Jedi Exile

'This Jedi' was the Master of the Jedi Exile prior to the Mandalorian Wars. After the Exile had been in a heated argument with Vrook Lamar's Padawan, Vrook came to the Exile's Master and asked that she be disciplined for her actions. The Master refused, forcing Vrook to seek out Vandar Tokare to discipline the Exile.
When the Jedi Exile repaired a protocol droid outside of Khoonda in 3,951 BBY, the droid showed her a holorecording of Vrook's complaint to Vandar in which the Exile's Master was mentioned.

Ma'tien

'Ma'tien' was an ancient Jedi Master. A Master from the Old Republic era, he took Keval Raffaan as his Padawan.

Mical

'Mical', (a.k.a. 'The Disciple') is a fictional character in the Xbox and PC video game ''. He was born in 3,976 BBY.
The Jedi Exile meets him in the ruins of the Jedi Enclave on the planet Dantooine. He claims to be an historian for the Republic and a previous student of the Jedi Exile in the Jedi Academy prior to its destruction. He is a self-styled disciple of knowledge. The Disciple wishes to be instructed in the ways of the Force by the Exile, but since the supposed destruction of the Jedi Order, he became an historian to preserve the knowledge of the Jedi. He works for the Republic and is knowledgeable about the state of affairs and how important certain key worlds and the Jedi Order are to the continued existence of the Republic. He is also classed as a soldier.
The Disciple joins the group if the Jedi Exile is female and, along with Atton, is one of the two characters the player can form a romance with. His true name, 'Mical' (pronounced more like 'mee-kal' than 'michael'), is mentioned only once in the game, and then only if the Exile is male, when Disciple reports to his Republic contact about finding the Exile on Dantooine. If Revan is set as Light Side, this is Admiral Carth Onasi; otherwise, it is Admiral Cede (however, if Revan was dark and male, it will still appear as Carth, despite the fact he's dead).
The Disciple can become a Jedi Consular in the game, and, based on a prediction made by Darth Traya before her death, he goes on to sit on the new Jedi Council. If he follows the dark side, becomes a ruthless senator who rules with an iron fist according to Kreia's predictions.
Chris Avellone stated that he is 25 years old. [1]

Mroon, Jassa

'Jassa Mroon' was an ancient Jedi Master who established a training center on , some 4,000 years BBY. It was on Truuine that tried to convince Master Jassa that he was ready to being the Jedi training. Jassa ignored the Gotal twice, because Kark only wanted to learn the Force as a hobby or task, not because the Force called him. Nearly a year after his first visit, Kith Kark returned to Truuine a third time. He had finally discovered that the Force wasn't something you just obtained, but was something that had to be felt and obeyed. Jassa understood that Kith Kark had finally been touched by the Force, and agreed to train him.

Murrtaggh

'Murrtaggh' was a Jedi Master during the s. He assassinated the mysterious Sith Lord known as the Dark Underlord with the assistance of a Mandalorian diversion on the Dark Underlord's forces, the Black Knights. Murrtaggh succeeded in his task, giving himself over to the dark side to do so.

Nadill, Memit

Jedi Master 'Memit Nadill' was Empress Teta's most trusted advisor during the series of Unification Wars that brought together the seven systems she ruled. Nadill was a regal, green-skinned humanoid with several small tails sprouting from the back of his head. His chin was strong, and was dominated by a large, bony curl at the end. A number of short horns studded his skull. He and Teta believed that both Odan-Urr and Jori Daragon were correct in predicting the imminent Sith attack, and began readying their own forces. (Memit Nadill and Odan-Urr were comrades) Nadill rallied the Jedi to his cause, and led the Jedi forces that defended Coruscant from Naga Sadow's warriors. When Gav Daragon broke Sadow's concentration, Nadill realized that much of the attacking force was illusory - Sith magic kept it and the real warriors going. They were able to dispel the illusions and turned the tide of battle. Nadill fought with the Force, eliminating the Sith threat from Coruscant.

Nemo

'Nemo' was a Jedi Master during the Jedi Civil War.
An elderly Jedi at the time of the war against Darth Malak, Nemo was helpful and amiable, despite the troubles of the galaxy at large.
Revan met with Nemo as he retrained in the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine, and Nemo offered some words of wisdom to Revan about his final test to become a Padawan. Like the other Masters there, Nemo was aware of Revan's true identity.
The council assigned Nemo to investigate the ancient Rakatan temple on the planet, shortly before Revan returned with the redeemed Juhani. Unfortunately for Nemo, he failed to overcome the temple's defenses and was killed by one of the guardian droids. His body was later found by Revan when he entered the temple himself.
Nemo is possibly a reference to Jules Verne's character Captain Nemo from his 1867 novel 20,000 Leagues under the sea.
Nemo is also possibly meant to be taken as "Omen" spelled backwards. This is because when the player asks "what kind of name is Nemo anyway?" He crpytically replies that names are of little importance and that "[Revan] of all people should know that." This could be considered an omen for Revan's revelation.

Nisi, Bala

'Bala Nisi' was a female Human Jedi Master and member of the Dantooine Enclave Council during the Great Hunt and Mandalorian Wars.
Less harsh in her judgments than fellow Master Vrook Lamar, Master Nisi did not hold Duron Qel-Droma's relationship to Ulic Qel-Droma against him. She believed that it was one's choices, not bloodline, that could lead to the dark side. She agreed with Vrook, however, that the small group of three Jedi Knights secretly sent to Korriban to purge the planet of terentateks was too small, fearing that the party would be corrupted by the planet's dark influence.
She was still on the council as of 3,964 BBY, but was replaced by Master Dorak by 3,956 BBY.

Nisotsa

A Jedi who defied the council and followed Revan and Malak to fight in the Mandalorian Wars.
The Jedi Exile encountered her in a dark-side induced flashback on Korriban, similar to the one that Luke Skywalker underwent in the cave on Dagobah. It is heavily implied that she later became a Sith.

Odan-Urr

A reptilian Jedi librarian, 'Odan-Urr' was a grey-skinned alien who was assigned to assist Empress Teta in securing The seven systems, and he was also given the task of being the 'Jedi Watchman' of the Koros System. Descended from a race of fierce predators, he communicated by telepathic means, contacting all his people through the Force, rather than speaking. It was also very likely that Odan was a Grand Master of the Jedi Order due to his influence in shaping the Order during his time serving it.
Odan-Urr was trained by the ancient Master Ooroo, and was content to simply study the history of the Jedi and the Sith before being dispatched to the Empress Teta System. It was Odan-Urr who had a vision of Marka Ragnos' death and the chaos that would result from it. He was taken to Coruscant by Empress Teta, in order for him to alert the Old Republic to the danger. Unfortunately, the Republic ignored Odan-Urr's vision, claiming it was the delusion of an untrained Knight. Teta, however, was not as demeaning, and mustered her own armed forces to prepare for a Sith attack. Odan-Urr joined his own Master, Ooroo, in the defense of Kirrek against Naga Sadow's Dark Side forces. When the tide began turning to the Sith forces, Ooroo sacrificed himself to kill them off with the cyanogen atmosphere in which he lived. His dying words to his student were prophetic, telling the young Jedi that he would become one of the most ancient Jedi ever. Odan-Urr then stood by Empress Teta's side during the Great Hyperspace War, and assisted in the destruction of Naga Sadow's Sith Empire.
After searching the wreckage of Sadow’s ship, he found the Sith Holocron and took it with him to Ossus, where he helped create the huge Great Jedi library. Odan-Urr later presided over the Jedi Assemblies for more than 600 years prior to the assembly on Deneba to discuss the rising Dark Side tide and the Krath. It was probably around this time that he was declared (probably through an act of the will of the Force) the Grand Master of the Jedi Order. It was also Odan-Urr who taught Nomi Sunrider how to block another person from the Force. After his death, Sunrider would then go on to become the Order's Grand Master after her Draethos Master. Odan-Urr was the Jedi keeper of antiquities, and possessed a rare Sith holocron. His possession of the dark holocron did not go unnoticed by Exar Kun, who killed Odan-Urr while stealing it.

Ooroo

'Ooroo' was the ancient Jedi Master who taught the venerable Odan-Urr.
An ocean creature native of a world with a dense, cyanogen-rich atmosphere, Ooroo was a brain-like creature encased in a yellow crystal which maintained the cyanogen atmosphere in which he survived. Ooroo went to Cinnagar to visit with Empress Teta and Odan-Urr shortly after his student was ridiculed on Coruscant for believing in an imminent Sith attack. Ooroo, however, believed that his student was correct in the interpretation of his vision, as were several other Jedi Masters. Ooroo and Odan-Urr led the defense of Kirrek when Naga Sadow finally launched his attack, but they were unable to turn the tide of battle with the Force. Ooroo, seeing that he alone held the key to the battle, told the Jedi to seek shelter and then cracked open his crystal shell. The cyanogen atmosphere was deadly to the Sith forces, which were killed almost immediately. However, Ooroo was unable to survive in an oxygen atmosphere, and expired in Odan-Urr’s arms. Like all Jedi Masters, Ooroo’s physical form dissipated as his lifeforce became one with the Force. Ooroo, unlike other Jedi, did not wield a lightsaber in any way.

Pernicar

Born the son of a scribe in a small town, and one of four brothers, Pernicar aspired to follow in his father's footsteps. However, when Pernicar proved to be Force-sensitive, his father sent him away to join the ranks of the Jedi. Pernicar resented this and hated his father for doing so. When he was older, however, he realized that it had been done for his own sake. He regretted that his father had died before he understood.
Pernicar was a close friend of Jedi Master Hoth. He was the one who advised Hoth to use Force-sensitive children during the Ruusan campaign, saying that if the Jedi did not use the children, Lord Kaan would. He also recruited Valenthyne Farfalla's father into allying with the Army of Light. The younger Farfalla and Hoth were usually at odds with each other, and Pernicar often served as a mediator in their disputes.
He was killed by a Sith attack on Ruusan in 1,000 BBY. Farfalla arrived too late to save Pernicar, which drove a wedge between him and Lord Hoth. Pernicar's Force ghost later manifested itself to Lord Hoth in a dream, guiding him and preventing his fall to the dark side of the Force. He convinced Hoth to lay down his anger and apologize to Farfalla.
A planet in the Ruusan system was named after him.

Pina, Awdrysta

'Awdrysta Pina' was a Jedi Master slain by Arden Lyn during the . Before his death, Awdrysta used morichro to stop Lyn's heart for about 20 millennia.
In battle, Pina favored twin s, employing the Jar'Kai fighting technique.

Qalsneek

'Qalsneek the Bull' was a male from Dellalt. He was a Jedi Master during the Great Sith War. He was responsible for many of the water-culture artifacts evacuated from Ossus, following its destruction in the . He hid them beneath the seas of Kamino, in the Derem City ruins, along with .

Q'anilia

'Q'Anilia' was a female Miraluka Jedi Master. She came under the tutelage of Krynda Draay in 3,993 BBY and remained with her for at least a decade. It was during this time that she became one of the four s of the .
Q'Anilia was stationed at the as of 3,964 BBY and was one of the five masters implicated in the . She was a close associate and companion of Jedi Master Lucien Draay, the son of her former master. Together, they led the pursuit of fugitive Padawan Zayne Carrick.
One of the greatest seers of the Covenant, Q'Anilia was greatly respected by Lucien for both her ability and social status on her homeworld of Katarr. Given that she was a Miraluka, Lucien found it awkward when he had to remind her of the nature of the Unifying Force.
Q'Anilia displayed great emotional sensitivity and was openly sorrowful about the Jedi Masters' perceived duty to slay their Padawans. She was also highly Force-sensitive and was able to detect changes in the Force before the other Masters on Taris. She was the Master who initially sensed the potential for darkness in one of their Padawans, nearly collapsing after Alek advised Zayne Carrick that "sometimes you have to enter the darkness to save the light". There is some evidence that she was able to sense s in a way similar to that of Mace Windu. However, her abilities were not infallible; she mistakenly led the Tarisian Jedi Masters to the Undercity during their search for Carrick, where they had to battle rakghouls. She also proved unable to sense the mind of Carrick's ally Marn "Gryph" Hierogryph. Yet she felt sure that Gryph would ultimately betray Carrick to their pursuers.
She was present at the attempted arrest of Zayne and Gryph at Junk Junction, following which the two escaped offworld. At the time of the , she was on Coruscant with the other former Taris Masters, and was upset that Krynda Draay would not meet with her.
During the , Q'Anilia was in ice caverns on an unknown planet. As the Mandalorians rained nuclear missiles down onto Serroco's surface, Q'Anilia immediately felt the impact of thousands of deaths and concluded their vision was coming true.

Qel-Droma, Cay

'Cay Qel-Droma', a Jedi instructed by Master Arca Jeth at his training compound on Arkania some 4,000 years before the Galactic Civil War, he and his brother, and fellow Jedi Ulic Qel-Droma had been born on Alderaan to a great warrior family.
Cay was mechanically minded and always tinkered with machines. He lost his left arm during the Beast Wars of Onderon and replaced it himself during the battle with a prosthetic limb made from parts of an abandoned XT-6 service droid. When his brother, Ulic, turned to the Dark Side of the Force, Cay never stopped trying to bring him back to the Light Side. In a final confrontation, Ulic murdered Cay, an act that immediately filled him with horror and regret.

Qel-Droma, Duron

'Duron Qel-Droma' was a human Jedi of the Old Republic, first mentioned in the game Knights of the Old Republic. While on Dantooine, a Jedi at the Enclave tells Revan of the story of the Great Hunt, a quest to rid the galaxy of fearsome terentatek beasts carried out following the defeat of Exar Kun. After the Great Hunt ended, three Jedi Knights were chosen by the Jedi Council to continue the work of hunting down and destroying the remaining terentatek monsters in the galaxy. Sent to Korriban, the three Jedi were never heard from again. One of these Jedi was Duron Qel-Droma. While on Korriban, Duron fell in love with his companion, Shaela Nuur. When Guun Han, disgusted by their affair, abandoned them on Korriban, the two lovers continued to hunt the terantatek on their own. Before he died, he saw the vision of Revan finding his cloak. Revan eventually finds Duron's corpse in the caves of Korriban, learning that Duron was killed in battle with one of the beasts. Duron was a cousin of the famous Ulic and Cay Qel-Droma.

Qel-Droma, Ulic

Main articles: Ulic Qel-Droma

'Ulic Qel-Droma' (4,018 BBY – 3,986 BBY) was a highly ambitious Jedi of the Old Republic in the fictional Star Wars universe, primarily featured in ''Tales of the Jedi'', a Dark Horse comic book series set four thousand years before the events of the films. He was fair and tall with brown eyes and tousled brown hair. He shared character flaws with many Jedi who had fallen to the dark side, and Ulic did not escape this fate. He went on to scar the galaxy forever with a multitude of atrocities. But in an odd turn of events, Ulic experienced another fall—a fall that was so unorthodox in nature that future occurrences were extremely rare.
In many ways, Ulic's rise as a promising Jedi Knight, subsequent fall to the dark side, and eventual redemption mirrors the story of Anakin Skywalker.

Qornah

'Qornah' was the Jedi Master who trained Kibh Jeen. He was part of the team dispatched to investigate Dark side energy which permeated the planet Almas. Qornah, though a great warrior, was unprepared for the Dark Side's assault on Jeen's mind. Thus, upon landing on Almas, Qornah was cut down from behind by his own apprentice and killed before any investigation could take place.

Qual

'Qual' was a male Selkath Jedi Master from Manaan. He was a member of the Dantooine Enclave Council during the Great Hunt, but either left the Council or died at some point before the Padawan Massacre of Taris.

Quatra

'Quatra' was a female Jedi Master during the Jedi Civil War. She took Juhani as her Padawan and trained her at the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine.
Juhani, a Cathar, had much trouble controlling her emotions and finding peace within herself. Master Quatra devised an unorthodox plan to test her Padawan's spirit. During a lightsaber training duel, Juhani failed her master's test. She lashed out in anger during their training session and struck Quatra down. Though Quatra only received minor wounds, she feigned death in order to test Juhani even more. Filled with fear and guilt at the 'death' of her master by her own hands, Juhani fell to the dark side and fled the Enclave, intent on never returning.
Juhani was later found by a redeemed Revan, meditating in an ancient grove near the old Rakatan ruins. After a brief but difficult duel, Revan proved to be the stronger of the two and was able to convince Juhani to forsake the dark side. Juhani returned to the Enclave seeking forgiveness from the Dantooine Enclave Council. The Council was exceedingly grateful to see Juhani come back to the Jedi Order and praised Revan for his assistance. They also informed Juhani that Master Quatra was not dead after all, but had only been slightly injured in their duel, and that the duel itself was Quatra's last trial for her Padawan.
Master Quatra was unable to remain on Dantooine to see if Juhani passed her trial. Instead, she chose to use that time to search the Galaxy for new Padawans in need of training and direction in the ways of the Jedi and the Force. Her whereabouts after these events are unknown.

Ry-Gaul

'Ry-Gaul' was an elderly Jedi Master during the Old Republic Era. He wielded a silver single-bladed lightsaber and trained Tru Veld as his Padawan. During the Clone Wars, Ry-Gaul fought alongside other Jedi, and survived Order 66.
A tall, dignified, very long-lived, quiet man, Ry-Gaul seldom spoke, which made him seem mysterious, but when he did speak up, it was usually worth listening to his wisdom and experience, which made him respected. He was a powerful lightsaber combatant, but often prevented fights through simple intimidation. He and Tru accompanied Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker on many missions prior to the Clone Wars, including a dangerous mission on Korriban. In the Clone Wars, he was a Senior General in command of the 2nd Sector Army.
Ry-Gaul was sent on a highly secret mission to the Outer Rim in the last months of the Clone Wars. He left his former Padawan behind at the Temple thinking that he would be safe there. When the Great Jedi Purge began, Tru was killed at the Temple while Ry was still undercover. He was helped by two scientists who later disappeared, captured by the Empire and sent to Bellassa. His search for them led him to the Coruscant Underlevels where he met ex-Jedi Solace.

Shan, Bastila

Main articles: Bastila Shan

Born circa 3,979 BBY, Bastila Shan was the quintessential Jedi: trained from a young age and gifted with a natural ability in the Force that gave her both renown and considerable pride. Despite her youth, Bastila was skilled in the rare art of Battle Meditation -- through sheer force of will she could influence the course of a battle. Through this power, one side was given courage and strength while the other is sapped of their will. In this, a small Republic fleet could defeat an entire Sith armada. This ability alone put Bastila into the forefront of the Galactic Republic's plan to defeat the Sith.

Shayoto

He was a Jedi Master who lived through both the Gank Massacres (4,800 BBY) and the Vultar Cataclysm (4,250 BBY). His own Master and his Master's Master had also lived through many centuries. Shayoto's Master's Master had lived through both the Hundred-Year Darkness (7,000 BBY - 6,900 BBY) and Great Hyperspace War (5,000 BBY) and had told Shayoto of both of them, teaching Shayoto how darksiders worked. At the urging of Arca Jeth, Shayoto shared his knowledge with the Jedi Assembly at Mt. Meru on Deneba. It is unknown if the elderly Master survived the following Krath attack.

Simikarty

'Simikarty' was a Jedi Master of the Old Republic who produced a set of extremely influential writings about the Jedi Code. Sin, Cariaga

A Jedi who defied the council and followed Revan and Malak to fight in the Mandalorian Wars.

Snapit, Torr

'Torr Snapit' was a Jedi scout and Master during the end of the New Sith Wars.
Snapit disliked using his lightsaber and usually wielded a hardened wood staff (much like GrandMaster Vodo), as it had a longer reach. He discovered three young Force-sensitive Humans on the planet Somov Rit — Tomcat (Darovit), Bug (Hardin), and Rain (Zannah). They were taken to Ruusan, where the Jedi Army of Light was currently battling the Sith Brotherhood of Darkness. While in transit, they were attacked by Sith fighters, and narrowly escaped.
Once on land, the Sith were not far behind, and Torr held them back so that the children could escape. Slicing a rope bridge with his weapon once they were safely across, he fell down the canyon along with the hoards of Sith minions. Tomcat climbed down to try and retrieve Torr's lightsaber. Torr was still alive, and urged Tomcat to leave the weapon with him, but he could only watch in dismay as the boy took it anyway. Torr died from his injuries moments later.

Snee, Ferleen

'Ferleen Snee' was a Jedi Master. He was noted for his curmudgeonly personality, and his mastery of telekinesis, as illustrated in one unverified legend about him.[14]
Supposedly, he was once found standing next to the —or rather below them, as he was levitating them in the air at the time. These stones, the heaviest of which weighed over five metric tons, were flying through the sky, close to a pair of tourist sail barges. Some accounts describe the tourists as transfixed by the spectacle, though other versions of the story claim the tourists and the barge pilots were unable to move, fearing that they would be crushed by the stones.
Some of the Planetary Enforcers attempted to arrest the Jedi Master, only to be impatiently shooed away while the Jedi Master continued his practice.

Unlike her fellow Masters 'Bala Nisi' and 'Vrook Lamar', Master Stusea agreed with Master 'Qual' that the Council should trust in the Jedi High Council's decision to send only a small party of hunters to Korriban. She believed that together the three Knights could resist the temptations of the dark side while on the planet.16

Sunrider, Jev

'Jev Sunrider' was the grandfather of Andur Sunrider and the Jedi Watchman of the Darada system.

Her final fate is yet unknown.

Tal

'Tal' was a Jedi Master in the New Sith Wars. A Human male, he was considered one of the great Jedi of his time. As a young man he had explored the stars, and had once been in love with a woman who had died long before the Seventh Battle of Ruusan. During the battles of Ruusan, he urged Lord Hoth to call off the attack, to no avail. Tal died in the Seventh Battle of Ruusan, and was buried in the Valley of the Jedi. In 5 ABY, his spirit helped teach Kyle Katarn how to use a lightsaber and defeat mental attacks.

Tannis

Mistress 'Tannis' was a female Omwati Jedi Master born on Coruscant. She became the Headmistress of the Teyan Praxeum. She held that any Force-sensitive sapient was obligated to train as a Jedi. Her Padawans included Vici and Veni Ramunee.

The Jedi Exile encountered him in a dark-side induced flashback on Korriban, similar to the one that Luke Skywalker underwent in the cave on Dagobah. It is heavily implied that he later became a Sith.

Tey, Raana

'Raana Tey' was a female Togruta and one of the five Jedi Masters implicated in the Padawan Massacre of Taris. She wielded a green lightsaber, and was a Sage Master and member of the Jedi Covenant. She appeared to have a reputation for being the most "wild" of the five. She had joined the group of Consulars, having been trained by 'Krynda Draay' by 3,988 BBY.
As a child, Raana Tey experienced nightmares. These were in fact discovered to Force visions. She was trained as one of Master Krynda Draay's students who would eventually join a Covenant with her fellow students to prevent another Sith War. Krynda Draay helped Raana cope with these nightmares as her training progressed.
During her and fellow Council members' trek on the Rogue Moon, she and the others meditated and foresaw events that would unfold in the future. However, these visions were not pleasant. Raana saw herself on Taris fighting against Sith and Mandalorians, only to be cut down within her vision. With the others, who also foresaw this, they determined that the one who caused this to happen was one of their own Padawans and so they agreed that they had to kill all of them to destroy the shatterpoint of the events.
Tey joined her fellow Masters 'Xamar, Q'Anilia', and 'Feln' in killing all but one Padawan, Zayne Carrick. She joined the pursuit of Zayne Carrick and Marn "Gryph" Hierogryph, whom they had framed for the Padawans' murders. She pursued Zayne and Gryph through the cafeteria of the Temple and later battled rakghouls in the Undercity in hopes of discovering the duo, only to discover they had been duped. She was present at the attempted arrest of Zayne and Gryph at Junk Junction, after which the two escaped offworld.
After being brought in by a bounty hunter, all was revealed to Zayne. However, before they could finally end his life, his new companions rescued him from the Council chambers. Due to the Council's failures, riots had overtaken Taris which reached even the Middle City. With the Senator missing and the constable of theTaris Civil Authority family being held hostage, forces were being pulled up to the Upper City. Matters escalated out of the control of the Jedi on Taris; therefore they were recalled to Coruscant, realizing that their concern was the Galaxy and not a single planet. Still, Tey was concerned about splitting the Covenant up. As the riots continued, a message came for the Covenant members. Zayne Carrick informed them that he would hunt each one of them until one of them confessed to the Padawan Massacre and by this cleared his name.
When recalled to Coruscant, Raana Tey and the others visited the home of Lucien's mother for matters unknown. With the Mandalorian Conflict devoting less time to finding the "fugitive" Zayne Carrick, Lucien threatened the security force to send Raana Tey to oversee their progress unless they started doing their job in finding Zayne.
At this time, Raana was on a special assignment, attached to the Supreme Chancellor. Despite this, she received Lucien's backing to carry out a plan to capture Zayne.
Raana hired two Ithorian bounty hunters, the Moomo Brothers to watch a banker on the banking world of Telerath to lure Zayne Carrick out. However, the bounty hunters fouled up and kidnapped him instead after three days of watching him. Tey became furious and threatened them for ruining her and her associates' plans. She ordered them to do nothing and await a transmission from her detailing their next move. However, when Zayne Carrick discovered the Moomos' vessel, Raana Tey was discovered and earned the top spot on Zayne's list of Covenant members to hunt down.
However, Raana began to feel the guilt of the dead Padawans of Taris. She began having nightmares about Zayne extracting his revenge on her. She began to take medication but the nightmares continued to come. She vowed to hunt down Zayne and the "white-haired witch" (Jarael) who had rescued him.

★ During fellow Covenant members' vision of Zayne Carrick's revenge on the Covenant members, she sees Kamlin standing where Raana Tey stood during the Padawan Massacre of Taris. This could possibly imply that Raana Tey was the master of Kamlin.

Thanabo, Shang-Troy

'Shang-Troy Thanabo' was an ancient Jedi Master whose history was long lost to the tides of time. However, Shang-Troy's story did survive as a myth and a fable, passed down for generations among the Jedi Knights.
Shang-Troy was a Jedi Master who dedicated a part of his life to searching the Galaxy for Force-sensitive beings. A non-Human Jedi with purple skin, matching dreadlocks, and black, glass eyes, he felt one of the most powerful surges in the Force while traveling near the planet Boranall.
Having never felt such a strong presence in the Force, he journeyed to the planet to investigate. On the surface, Shang-Troy found a young woman, pregnant and ready to give birth to twins. Assisting her in the birth, he was there to welcome the two young boys, one of which received a scar on his arm during a slight complication in the delivery. With the planet having little to offer it citizens, the boys mother agreed to let Shang-Troy take them offplanet and train them as Jedi Knights so that they might have a brighter future.
Shang-Troy took it upon himself to train the boys on a remote planet, and as the boys grew into young men strong in the Force, they came to love Shang-Troy as a father. Together they traveled the Galaxy protecting the innocent and upholding justice while staying true to the Jedi way. During their travels, however, the younger brother met and fell in love with a young lady who returned his love just as much. However, the older brother loved the woman just as much, and it did not take long for his love to turn to jealousy and anger. Shang-Troy did his best to comfort the young man, but was unfortunately unable to extinguish the anger and jealousy within him. One night, the older brother used his identical appearance to fool the woman into sharing a kiss with him, but was caught by his brother.
This time, the jealousy was in the younger brother and the woman's true love. Giving in to their anger, malicious words soon turned to physical violence. Sensing the disturbance in the Force, Shang-Troy rushed to scene of the fight. Unable to calm the two young men, Shang was caught in the middle of a fight fueled by emotion. Unable to stop themselves, a misplaced lightsaber strike found its way into Shang-Troy, their master, the man who cared for them since their birth, the man who, to them was a father.
That night, Shang-Troy Thanabo became one with the Force at the hands of his two brightest students, and the men he loved as sons. Finding their master dead, the two brothers emotions amplified to an even greater degree, the two flew into a rage battling each other. Even screaming and pleading by the woman they loved could not stop the fighting. In the end, the two brothers were consumed by their emotions and the Force destroying them both, the woman they loved, and even the planet on which they waged war. Passed down in tale and in legend, Shang-Troy Thanabo's story was used as a lesson to teach young Jedi Knights the dangers of letting emotions cloud their judgment and the consequences of letting it do so.

Thon

A member of the Tchuukthai race, ceratopsian quadrupeds originating from the Unknown Regions. 'Thon' is in reality a Jedi Master assigned to the Stenness System and living on Ambria just prior to the Great Sith War.
When he first came to Ambria, the Dark Side of the Force was prevalent on the planet. Master Thon battled the Dark Side, forcing it back into Lake Natth. His experiences on Ambria taught him the virtue of the Light Side, and he tried unsuccessfully to convince the other Jedi Masters about the dangers of the Krath.
He was supposed to have continued the Jedi training of Andur Sunrider, but Andur's death changed those plans. Instead, Thon became the teacher of Andur's wife, Nomi Sunrider. Her recalcitrance was broken when Thon was attacked by Bogga the Hutt. In the battle, Thon gave his lightsaber to Nomi, and she used it with unusual skill for an untrained Jedi candidate. Thon realized that Nomi was the special Jedi that he was prophesied to train, and took her fully underin the Empress Teta system.

Timpel, Marus

'Marus Timpel' was a male Human Jedi Master about six centuries before the Clone Wars.
Born on Coruscant and raised in the Jedi Temple, Marus honed his Force skills and eventually attained the rank of Jedi Master. One day, while on routine duties on the planet of Antar 4, Marus met a Gotal who had been turned down for Jedi training years earlier; in fact, turned away by Marus himself.
The Gotal's name was Kaskutal and he possessed none of the bitterness many beings acquired when turned away from Jedi training. Kaskutal still admired the Jedi Order and made a very successful life for himself since then as a businessman. Marus and Kaskutal soon became friends and Marus would express his frustration on how his life as a Jedi limited him in available resources. Upon hearing this, Kaskutal proceeded to raise funds to create an organization that could help the Jedi Order in ways that would alleviate some of Marus' frustrations.
The organization founded became known as the Antarian Rangers. As it grew and expanded, it moved beyond the borders of Antar 4, acquiring more and more members among beings who also admired the Jedi and wished to help them in any way possible. Throughout the rest of his career as a Jedi, Marus Timpel was accompanied by Kaskutal whose resources and limited Force-sensitivity proved more than valuable on multiple occasions.
When Marus Timpel became one with the Force, Kaskutal took on an administrative role to manage the operations of the organization. With his strong business and managerial skills, Kaskutal ensured that the organization was financially stable and helped to continue its expansion. Long after Marus' death, the organization he helped to build flourished and assisted the Jedi Order through the tough times of the Clone Wars, the rise of the Galactic Empire, and even into the era of the New Republic.

Tokare, Vandar

Master 'Vandar Tokare' is a Jedi Master who appears in the video game ''Knights of the Old Republic''. He is a member of the same race as Yoda and Yaddle. He is voiced by veteran voice actor Tom Kane. Vandar speaks grammatically impeccable English (or rather Galactic Basic in the fiction), as opposed to Yoda's famous inverted speech patterns.
In the game, Vandar leads the Jedi Academy on Dantooine. His first aprintece was Dexar Kariff. Later he helps Revan through his quest to find the Star Forge. Later, he joins the Republic's attack on the Star Forge and helps Bastila Shan and Revan in their mission to destroy Darth Malak by sending a group of Jedi Knights onto the Star Forge for assistance. When Darth Malak destroys the Academy on Dantooine, Vandar survives. It is later assumed that Vandar perishes along with the galaxy's population of Jedi and Miraluka at the planet of Katarr. However, another story of Vandar revealed in dialogue is that he disappeared fighting Sith after Revan's disappearance and is presumed dead.
In the light side version, Vandar's forces succeed in destroying the Star Forge and he congratulates Revan and his party. It's believed that Vandar was later killed in '' by Darth Nihilus when the Sith Lord siphoned mid-rim planet Katarr of the Force in his hunger.
In the dark side version, Vandar and Admiral Dodonna are aboard the Republic's flagship during the assault on the Star Forge, only to be horrified by the fact that Bastila Shan has fallen to the dark side and Revan has re-emerged as the Sith Lord again. By the time Vandar realized this, it was too late. The Sith fleet was too well organized, especially with Bastila's battle meditation tipping the scales, and the Sith ships destroyed the flagship with remarkable precision and ease, killing Vandar.

Tremayne, Matta

'Matta Tremayne' was the Jedi Master of Freedon Nadd. She was a Human female from Corroth, and an excellent duelist.
When she refused to promote her Padawan to Knight, Nadd lashed out at her. Seeing the situation as a prime test for him, Matta deliberately gave him an opportunity to strike her down—a test which Nadd failed, killing his master, and marking his break from the Jedi Order.
It has been hypothesized by some that Matta Tremayne was in fact an ancient ancestor of later Imperial High Inquisitor Antinnis Tremayne, similar to Vima-Da-Boda's relationship to Vima Sunrider from this same era, though this has yet to be officially confirmed.

Trit, Hoche

'Hoche Trit' was a Jedi Master of the Galactic Republic who survived the war the Jedi engaged in with the Sith Brotherhood of Darkness. Additionally, Master Trit was known for his observation of Jedi and external loyalties with his statement,
:''"A Jedi is a Jedi, first, foremost, and only. For a Jedi to divide his attention between the will of the Force and the will of others is to invite disaster."''
Master Hoche Trit's words helped explain the Jedi Order's severe discouragement of a Jedi forming relationships, accept gifts, or take a political appointment.

Tuknatan

'Tuknatan' was a male Jedi Master who lived during the time of the Great Hyperspace War. He fought in the Battle of Coruscant alongside fellow Jedi 'Memit Nadill' and 'Sonam-Ha'ar'. Curiously, in place of a lightsaber, Tuknatan preferred to use a staff and a boomerang, likely imbued with the Force.

Unknown Cerean Jedi

This 'Cerean' Jedi Master fought at the First Battle of Ruusan against the Brotherhood of Darkness where she used her mastery of Battle Meditation to hold the Sith fleet off until her death, and the death of the two Selkath Padawans who joined her at the hands of former Jedi and Dark Lord of the Sith, Kopecz.

Unnamed High Master

This unnamed being was the "" of the Jedi Order in 340 BBY. The Master sat in a throne room on Coruscant, presumably the Jedi Temple, and received reports from Jedi. Among the reports received were that of a blue-skinned Jedi who had fought pirates, a yellow-eyed Twi'lek who had prevented the assassination of a diplomat, and Yoda's report on the loss of the ''Chu'unthor''.
After , the took the holovids of the reports to this Master to Toola, where Darth Vader and his stormtroopers destroyed most of them with EMP grenades and thermal detonators. However, Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 were able to uncover surviving fragments.

Vash, Lonna

'Vash, Lonna' was a Jedi Master and a High Council member during the Mandalorian and Jedi Civil Wars. She was one of those who cast out the Jedi Exile after he/she returned from the Mandalorian Wars. Lonna Vash remained on the Council until the fall of the Miraluka world of Katarr in the aftermath of the Jedi Civil War.
When the Jedi Council disbanded, Vash left for the ruined Sith world of Korriban. She was eventually captured by the Sith Lord, Darth Sion, after a fast-paced lightsaber battle that was cut from the game. She was used as bait by Sion to lure the Jedi Exile to Korriban. When all use for her was done, Sion killed her, shortly before confronting the Exile himself.
The Exile finds her dead in a pool of blood in the interrogation room of the Academy, and if HK-47 is nearby, he remarks that she has been dead for no less than 1 hour. But thanks to Vash's foresight, the Exile was able to use a Sith computer account Vash created to escape the Sith Academy and continue his/her journey.
Deleted information concerning the game indicates that Vash was to play a role in the deleted droid planet level, along with her male Padawan Kaah Ohtok. However this planet was one of the many areas omitted from TSL in order to meet the release deadline. Eventually a mod was created where the Jedi Exile could speak to Vash, who later was killed by Darth Sion, saving the Jedi Exile in the process. She had a silver blade in the mod.

Verdox, Broden Kel

'Broden Kel Verdox' was an ancient Jedi Master who installed a cloaking device on Yalara, which kept hidden the entire planet. This was to protect the indigenous primitive civilization.
In 14 ABY Jedi Master Tionne Solusar learned about this—thanks to a holocron—and informed Jedi Master Luke Skywalker about it.

Vulatan

'Vulatan' was a Jedi Master about 400 BBY. He was one of three Masters whom went to Dathomir in an attempt to salvage the wreck of the original ''Chu'unthor'', an effort halted by the local witches.

Vuluk, Bor-Kal

'Bor-Kal Vuluk' was a Jedi Master who served the order during the New Sith Wars. He died on the battlefield of Ruusan, leaving his lightsaber for future archaeologists to search for it.

Wiwa

'Wiwa' was a legendary female Jedi Master during the time of the Old Republic and a psionics instructor at the Jedi Temple.

Xamar

'Xamar' was a Khil Jedi Master. He had joined the group of Consulars being trained by 'Krynda Draay' by 3,988 BBY.
Xamar was one of the five responsible for the Padawan Massacre of Taris, although he was the one least sure of it. He wielded a green lightsaber, and was a Sage Master and member of the Covenant. Like others of his species, Xamar possessed a sonorous voice.
While Jedi Masters 'Feln', 'Raana Tey', 'Q'Anilia', and 'Lucien Draay' pursued Zayne Carrick, Xamar remained behind at the Jedi Tower and communicated with Taris Security and contacts on Coruscant.
Around the time of the Battle of Vanquo, Xamar was on Coruscant with the other former Taris Masters, and had been assigned to Republic Security.
Based on the vision Xamar had on Taris's Rogue Moon, it is likely that he commanded a Republic ship during the Battle of Malachor V. His vision also showed him being killed when his ship was destroyed after Revan and Malak betrayed the Republic.

★ During Raana Tey's vision of Zayne Carrick's revenge on the Covenant members, she sees Gharn standing where Xamar stood during the Padawan Massacre of Taris. This could possibly imply that Xamar was the master of Gharn.

Ziveri, Nerra

'Nerra Ziveri' was a Jedi Master. He took Lanius Qel-Bertuk as his Padawan and trained him to be a Jedi Knight. Ziveri became the Headmaster of the Almas Academy in 119 BBY as it grew from a small school to a full Academy. Though some wondered at putting an Academy so close to such a powerful dark side site as the Almas Sith fortress, Ziveri felt it would be a constant reminder to students of the dangers of the dark side. Every year, he recounted the tale of Kibh Jeen and the Dark Jedi Conflict to the students, though he eventually had older students take over this duty.
Nerra Ziveri began the tradition of the Academy taking on some older students, beginning with some Tarasin on the cusp of adulthood and expanding to teenage Wookiees and Twi'leks. He also extended the time students stayed in the group learning environment, expanded the training in alien cultures, and instituted a program of "Jedi quests" for his students to gain some experience in the galaxy beyond.
Ziveri was convinced the Sith fortress was important to the future of the galaxy and attempted to probe its dark side aura. One day in 56 BBY, he succeeded in penetrating the aura. He said his farewells to Lanius, whom he made the new Headmaster of the Academy. Ziveri then disappeared on a mysterious mission, never to be seen again. A bust of him remained at the Academy as a reminder of his legacy.
